Paziflora Hostel

Convenient hostel, close to the restaurant area and Carrizalillo Beach. Staff are nice, rooms were clean. The pool is cute. It seems like a good place to socialize if you’re traveling solo or want to meet people. It’s naturally quiet, as long as the other guests are too. The communal kitchen was gross. There was dirty cutlery, unwashed dishes, and rotten food left behind. With the heat, the smell is strong. I’m not sure who is responsible for maintaining it, but it clearly wasn’t being managed properly. I’m usually flexible when I travel, but this felt unhygienic enough that I avoided using it altogether. There was also a supermarket cart filled with empty bottles left in the sun, attracting insects. On my last night, there was a group of very loud guests, with frat-style shouting and loud music, well past midnight. I had an early flight and couldn’t get any sleep. Families with children were staying in other rooms. I don’t mind people having fun, but in a shared space like this, respecting quiet hours and allowing others to rest should be a priority. Guests should be mindful, and when they’re not, staff need to step in and enforce the quiet hours.

Close to his station, manager very nice. Communication: I texted several times to inquire if they accepted credit card but they never responded. (They do -- but by then I had already gone to the bank in Case they didn't )

Dorms cleaned / sheets changed regularly. The room was cool with the fan on. A/C had the temperature at 24 at night but with the fans it was fine. Even during the day when the A/C was off. A sheet was provided for privacy (although not on ny first night). The pool. The beautiful outdoor environment. It was quiet. The A/C I didn't feel much but with the fans it was fine. Partially it was because someone else in the dorm didn't like AC (so it was not more powerful) but even after they left I didn't bother to get it changed as it was fine.

Great hostel, nice rooms and the pool is lovely. Not too far from the bays and some nice bars and restaurants on Benito Juarez. (Shower was terrible ?)

I had a great stay here. The accommodation has a beautiful garden and outside kitchen to hang out. The pool is very clean and you can find a big mango tree where you can eat the fruits from. The dorms are spacious and clean. The location is close to the bus stop which is very convenient.

It's a very nice hostel for a super good price. It's clean and has a very cosy area to just chill and relax. The location was perfect for me - close to Ado station and not far from Carrizalillo beach. There's lots of nice places to eat around as well.

I had a really great time staying at this hostel in Puerto Escondido. The atmosphere is super chill, and the people—both staff and guests—make it even better. The staff is really helpful and friendly, always ready to give advice or lend a hand. What makes this place special is the vibe: people gather around the pool or hang out in the open kitchen, and it feels super social without being overwhelming. It's full of greenery—there’s even a beautiful mango tree and tons of little plants all around, which gives it a cozy, tropical feel. If you’re looking for a spot that’s well-located but still peaceful and not too noisy, this is the place. It has that perfect balance between good energy and calm comfort. Definitely recommend!

Very cosy hostel, well-maintained and great value for money. It's located between Centro and Rinconada so it's a plus if you are interested in these areas plus beaches in this side and not the party areas (Punta) and the Zicatela beach. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Free water. The bunk beds in the female dorm where very nice and stable, I also asked for the bottom bunk bed and they considered my request. The common areas are big and nice, there is a pool, they have a mat that you can borrow to exercise. The garden which is very beautiful has a mango tree so you get to eat free mangos daily!! I also met very nice people there, it's not a party hostel but I met people my age (30+) and everyone was nice and friendly. Value for money, totally recommended! The rooms get cold during the night when the aircon is on , maybe some blankets would be useful ( I found out that all the girls in my room were cold during the night). The location is far from Zicatela/ La Punta so it's not suitable for people who want to hang out in these areas.

In the center of the village while being calm, very close to anything you need. The pool, the great kitchen, comfy mattress, and very nice owner. Feel like you're in nature in the middle of town. Honestly I wouldn't say, everything was good. To be picky I'd say add curtains to the bed in dorms.
