Good price overall, comfortable, relatively clean rooms, open concept is different but nice for a hostel. Far from the center, no bathroom connected to the rooms, breakfast should be complimentary for how much is provided (coffee + bread and jam).

The staff were very kind and the place clean The location

Very far from down town and shops

Loved the full kitchen and pool here. It made the common spaces very social. The room was great and the bed was super comfortable.

The property has decent amenities, is clean, and in a good location. The kitchen didn’t have a lot to work with, but it was still manageable (I ate out of a pot when I wanted a bowl)

I liked that it was a big property with 2 dogs The dogs barked. The water in the shower, in the sink, and in the kitchen turned brown. I couldn’t shower, make coffee or tea, and couldn’t wash my hands because if the unsanitary water. And the owners never addressed this problem or tried to fix it. You had to ask for pots or pans to cook anything because the owners kept them in their private kitchen. The dorm shower was hanging on by a thread and was hard to shower because of this. This could be easily fixed but was not. The dorms were very uncomfortable because the beds were so thin and two of the beds did not have outlets while all others did. And the owners were no where to be found after breakfast and were never in reception. I witnessed a couple waiting to get in the hostel in the rain for more than 10 minutes because the gate was locked. Very disappointing and would not stay there again.

The hostel was calm and clean. Did not face any issues related to noises like many other hostels. The AC did not work properly. The receptionist was away for most of the time to coordinate for anything.

Great family hostel in quite and calm nieghborhood. Just a short walk to store and bakery. Amazing balcony to watch sunrise. Garden with tv, well stocked kitchens, and very helpful family staff. I would definitely come back to Damaris.

Great place. Relaxed, attractive, colourful, plus good-sized bedroom and bathroom. The bloke running it was really helpful too.

Upon arrival we were welcomed by a lovely team of staff who showed us around the hostel and to our room. The outside is painted really nicely with bright colours and murals which are a really nice vibe. Unfortunately in the room we felt it wasn’t very clean. The sheet on the bed had stains on and there were hairs on the bed and pillows. I also found hairs in various other areas of the room. There were quite a lot of ants. The mattress was unfortunately extremely uncomfortable, and collapses in the centre making it difficult to sleep on. The hostel has a lot of potential if it was a little cleaner and a new mattress is needed in the room.

We were offered coffee and a safe place to store luggage before the check in Internet did not work well in our room

The bed was comfortable the sink and toilet were clean. There were ants in the bathroom, cobwebs and spiders all over the room, and there was algae coming out of the showerhead and faucet.

They were very accommodating and worked hard to ensure we got a good sleep? They have pool, cute design and comfortable ? The location is little far from bus station but if there is no strong sun , no problem ?
