It was a really nice resort with great customer service! Our check-in was delayed but the receptionist Maria was very helpful and friendly. She explained how to access the restaurants and made our stay comfortable. It was an all around great stay and I would definitely consider staying there again. They gave us a tour near the end of our stay that showed their more modernized rooms that were built 2 years ago. I would request those for future stays. Delayed check-in and getting a tour of the facility on day 5.

- We had to wait over 2 hours !! at check-in because our room was not cleaned yet, unforgiveble at these prices! No compensation whatsoever - Food in Palazzo for the Reserve only: menu without vegetables, quality very mediocre, definitely not luxury as adverted - Personnel friendly but not very competent, they forget what you asked for, they cannot answer any questions - We got an unneccesarily big old-fashioned apartment with kitchen instead of a luxury room: quantity instead of quality - We chose Paradisus Punta Cana for the turquoise water at that specific beach near the Bavaro lagoon, but we were 'upgraded' last minute to the Paradisus Palma Real, a few kilometers north. - At 12:00 the only food available in the property were the chewy hamburgers on the beach. Buffet only open from 12:30.

The service and friendliness of the staff was great. The food was very good and there was a nice selection of restaurants to dine in. The hotel went out of its way to make sure your stay was an enjoyable experience.

The foldout bed in the coach was awful. The room needed little bits of attention (shower temperature control was not very good, loose cover on an outlet, clock did not work).
