Nothing as such.

To be very honest, nothing except staff . They were very courteous and polite and helpful within their limited means. Prakash and kedar were very polite. Property was built in 1914 and maintained for limited purpose. Every thing was living in its own history like bed, doors, fittings etc etc. Needs investment to upgrade. Room was full of mosquitoes, even we have to change the room. No worthwhile cupboard and table to keep luggage. To open and operate luggage we have to sit on the floor. Even lighting in room and property was very dim.

I like the sea view rooms, the building and maintainance.. Auto is avaliable at the gate. Lot of good resturents are nearby. The mosquito menace is too much. The hotel is 3.5 km away from Lord Jagannath Temple. Transporation to Swargadwar beech and temple are costly..If 3 persons in a family is coming, they can not stay in one room and one single room need to booked alongwith double bed rooms which is disturbing. No intercom in the room.

I love Z hotel a beautiful heritage house and gardens. The staff is very helpful staff, the cook is great. I was there 12 years ago and came back to Puri to stay a few days at this lovely place. Marie from Paris

This is a lovely, tranquil place, full of charm, set back a little from the hustle and bustle.It's kept clean and well serviced by friendly, attentive staff. My single room, though small, was comfortable. Only tiny niggles - not having a socket or access to a light switch from the bed.

The heritage look , home type feeling , it's super clean and tidy . And doesn't give a feel that u are staying in hotel . It gives a very homely feel . I understand there service is minimalistic. But it's difficult to find anyone after some time . I suggest atleast some one should man the reception 24 by 7 . No guard also . They leave it just like that . There are so many international clients stay with them . May be they are comfortable with that , but I fealt otleast someone needs to be there at any given point of time . Or a phone number to reach someone in need.

Cleanliness, spacious room, Royale vintage homely feel of vintage style architecture. No TV in rooms. Only common room has TV. Not all room get strong Wifi signal. Most room have twin beds . Except one which had king size bed. There should be king size bed in atleasr all deluxe rooms.

Very nice rooms, close to the beach

The location is excellent. Very close to the beach which is less crowded. The room fittings are in poor condition. Our bathroom door was ill filling with gaps on all 4 sides. So the inside of it was fully visible from the bedroom. The beds are mentioned as double beds but in reality are single cots. The mini fridge in our room did not work. Evidently there was some water leakage problem from one of our bathrooms to the room below us and they couldn't fix it (the plumber came at 10 at night)

I rarely effuse over accommodation and virtually never give 10. Now, if you prefer 5-star hotels you may not agree with this 10. If, however you want a century-old building immaculately maintained, incredibly friendly and helpful staff, and a beach nearby ... well this place is a 10. For my taste, it is one of the best places I've ever stayed in. I'd put marmalade on the menu ?

Good location, near the beach. Big room. Shower had small tank and you needed to use bucket as shower head didn't work. A bit over priced for what you got
