Suburb Hostel

The upstairs is a pig’s potty and the downstairs is immaculately clean and designed. The management needs to be changed ASAP.

Could be cleaner but it's not what I'd call dirty.

The location is good, outsite of Viena. There is a supermarket next to it and a chinese restaurant with really good prices. Also the street has plenty of space for parking and it is a peaceful quiet street. The place was just disgusting. I understand that for this price you can't ask for 5 star accomodation, but the room where we slept was full of cockroaches and smelled really bad. The other guy we shared the room with had food on the table, and tens of cans of beer on the floor and in the badroom. There was a cockroach that drowned in one glas of beer, not exactly what you expect to see when you are in Viena. We where there for 2 days and avoided having shower because it didn't seem save there.

We were welcomed very warmly by the host, no problem in communication, our room was clean beautiful and bed was very good. there was free parking directly in front of house. Billa was just 2minutes walk. we got everything what we expected and for short stay it’s perfect to stay The water in the shower room could have been warmer more and wifi.

The other guests should try to keep the bathroom cleaner after using it, but that's something that has nothing to do with the place itself.

Great value for money. I had a large double bed. Very comfortable. Full kitchen facilities. Short walk from town centre past 2 large supermarkets. All good.

The hostel is cozy, the lower rooms have a grandmother's house feel. The owner is amiable and shows his effort to improve the building and keep it in a good running order. The rooms were decently maintained, the common areas were lush and trimming with life and the appliances worked perfectly. The area around is filled with beautiful forests where you can walk and at the same time has plenty of supermarkets around to provision yourself. This is one of the few hostels that offer a queen size bed in a private room. If you are going to Vienna proper, you will need to get either a bus or a train that is not included in the normal Vienna pass. The travel time to the city is also over an hour.

Easy to find location close to Wienna, cosy bed, friendly owner. Clean bathroom with common usage, There are Billa, Hofer and Lidl shops nearby. There was some odour in the room.
