Nothing Poor service , zero worth of money

The room and view from the room was amazing. Disappointed with my stay. Room service and restaurant service were extremely delayed, and the food quality was poor. Given the high price of the hotel, the experience did not justify the cost.

Great view from the room. Also the pool is pretty good. The rooms are also big enough having a balcony from where you can enjoy the awesome view straight to the mountains of Savitri Devi Temple. Also had a restaurant where you can have your breakfast/lunch/dinner and your beer. Very Near to Savitri ji Temple and Brahma ji Temple. Have parking space too. We paid a huge amount as we visited during holi. Rooms are good but there were many things which were missing as per the amenities. The Ac was not working properly, we called them 2-3 times but still nothing happened as the AC itself was malfunctioned. So please check the Ac’s before taking the room. No refrigerator in the room, No tea kettle in the room. Other than this, everything else was pretty decent.

We enjoyed the rural setting away from town. Quick ride to the center market. Hot shower only lasts about 2 minutes (we did not know there is a switch for the shower heater until our 3rd day, still only allowed quick shower time) WiFi is good when it's working, there is a circuit connecting the wifi-water heater-and A/C, which seemed to cycle on/off every few hours, lasting different increments of time. We did not need the a/c in January but that would be unfortunate. Prices for food and services are inflated to other places in India. We gave them our laundry to have washed and they quoted us 7,400INR (100INR per pair of socks!) a laundry service in town had a price list and a a pair of socks was 7IND there. Breakfast is also expensive, although the guys serving breakfast were probably the kindest on the property. Bed was comfortable but linens are old and the mattress smelt of mildew. We stayed 3 nights and they did not offer us new sheets/towels throughout the stay. Smoking in the rooms is allowed, which was unpleasant to say the least as the room next to us was partying until midnight and seemed to be chain smoking with their room doors open to the hall. We had to stuff our door with a towel to keep the second hand smoke at bay. We booked this for my birthday as a nicer resort option, disappointing.

We were recommended to stay at Green Genius by a friend and it didn’t disappoint. We were welcomed by friendly staff and were showed to our room which was spacious, quiet and had a great view of the surrounding mountains. Most importantly for us considering other experiences with hotels in India, the room was very clean. The manager of the hotel helped me rent a motorcycle for the day, and as we had to leave the next morning at 5am but wanted to keep the motorcycle for the evening, so he offered to give the motorcycle back the next day and kept the down payment for it as part of the payment for the hotel - truly a tailored and flexible experience. On the subject of flexibility, as we had to leave by 6 am and the complementary breakfast normally starts way later, the hotel accommodated by preparing a lovely takeaway breakfast. Truly a stellar experience.
