The view and location in town

  • Engine customer Feb 2026

Nothing, the lake view was good, but the noise was constant The entrance to the hotel is a junk yard with open and smelly urinals, no effort made by the managements to creat a nice setting upon arrival. All the good reviews here have obviously not experienced the good India can offer, otherwise they would know better. I decided i could not stay for more than one night, I had paid 38,000 non-refundable in advance, believing all the good reviews, that are not accurate; maybe those people had short stays? I was given a cold damp dungeon, even with a window looking out onto the ghats, it was joyless. Right outside my room was the in-house temple with people praying loudly and open urinals at the back of the same room. The energy was damp and heavy, I told the manager and his sister that i needed to move out, as it was making me ill. I requested they give me some of my money back, but they refused and so kept 38,000 rupees for my one nigbt stay. This is also the fault of Booking.com, who do not accept responsibility for allowing inaccurate doctored reviews and the 100% non-refundable policy. Many hotels fudge their reviews. A joyless brother and sister team, in it to win it, it's all about the money, i could see this written all over tbeir faces when i arrived. I decided it was better to lose my money than stay another cold, damp, joyless night under their roof. There are so many other nice places to stay in Pushkar with sun and friendly happiness. Enjoy your stay elsewhere.

    Great value for money too.

The lady I think owner is nice and the place is next ro the lake, that’s it. This is for backpackers and people that have low quality standards., especially regarding hygiene. Not even for budget travel. Entrance is so scary and have to walk through a place filled with urine am smells.

    Good Place

An excellent location to view the activities over the ghats. The camel fair seems to have far few camels than has been reported earlier.

Without a doubt, this is the hotel with the most beautiful view in Pushkar, offering a full panorama of the lake and a direct view of the ghats and temples. There are plenty of cozy seating areas and an excellent rooftop restaurant. Mina and Dilip currently run the place as a family business spanning three generations, originally gifted to their grandfather by the Maharaja. This hotel has no rivals in Pushkar. We stayed here 19 years ago and have returned now—and we’ll definitely come back again in the future. N/A

The location of the hotel is amazing! It sits right on the lake and you get a front row seat to see the daily rituals, and you also get a spectacular view of the entire lake! The staff is very friendly and makes you feel right at home. The food is very nice also and the restaurant is located on the rooftop so you can have your meals with a nice view of the surrounding area. Because of the location it can get very noisy from early morning to late evening. If you’re looking for some quiet time this is not the place to be. The building is a bit old so the facilities are pretty poor. I took shared bathroom and it was very old style and not so clean but manageable.

Perfect location. Fabulous hosts who speak perfect English. A really special experience. We did a Bollywood dance class on site which was fabulous...even got us remembering the steps. The teacher was expertly talented and so patient. Super highly recommended. Nothing

The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and relaxed. The hotel feels very old and has a lot of character. The views of the lake from the comfortable terraces are very nice The windows in this old building are small and oddly positioned, so many of the rooms can be a little dark. You might have to go out of the rooms onto the terraces for the views

Meena and Dilip run a wonderful hotel with amazing views of the lake and bathing ghats. Room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed breakfast on the roof terrace every morning! Meena gave us lots of helpful information about Pushkar and organised us a lovely ayurvedic massage.

Nice hotel with a good restaurant and perfect views. Owners were very nice and helpful. The hotel was not new one but it was one of the cleanest during my trip to India. Unfortunately, I was there for one night only.

Fabulous hotel in great location right on ghats. Rooms, restaurant and terraces on every level to relax outside your room are beautifully decorated. Nice owners, great staff and good roof top restaurant. The downside to the location is unavoidable noise. Lake front means next to the temples that generally have a very early start. That said I ended up staying for 2 weeks and just wore ear plugs! The entranceway next to the urinals and a lot of rubbish could be off putting to some but once you get into hotel itself it’s really nice.

Amazing hotel! The host is super friendly.

  • Engine customer Mar 2025

The hotel is right along the lake offering wonderful sunrise and sunset views. It is just off a busy shopping bazaar street, and close to food and tourist attractions. The siblings who run the hotel are very friendly, intelligent and helpful people. The rooftop restaurant offer very good breakfast, lunch and dinner options. A welcoming and comfortable place to stay. There is a men's urinal and aging garbage just before the hotel entrance. The hotel would be so much improved if it was able to have this area cleaned up. That aside, once in the hotel its old world charm takes over. The monkeys on the rooftop can be a bit confronting so heed the hotel advice on how to manage them.

Located on the shore of the lake with gorgeous views. Chillout, relaxing atmosphere and a good restaurant. Owners are helpful and open.
