Motel Puyallup

It is a very nice motel for the price. Quiet, easy to locate. Advice I would add is get to the grab and go breakfast early. Runs out fast.

I always get the best night's sleep when I stay there. Firm bed and comfortable room temp. Coffee maker!

Clean enough. Basic amenities had two conditioners and no shampoo, some freeway noise. Sore back in the morning. Staff were nice.

It’s a basic room and place to stay. But it’s always clean and friendly. The bed was sadly not comfortable at all this stay.

Quiet and very much enjoyed it and gonna see about staying again

Rooms are really old. Not the cleanest, coffee machine didn’t work and hard to set air conditioner. Staff was very friendly. Bed was ok. If you want a cheap room and don’t mind the outdated rooms it ok

The room were not clean, I could smell the foul smell from the comforter/quilt. The room next to us was busy in doing foul business. Was very suspicious and surprising for me stay there with family. Never suggest anyone to stay there with family.

To understand my next comment, a little background is needed. These same three had stayed at this same hotel a week prior. I was the only one asked for ID for both rooms although they, too, were under my son's names. In between these two stays, I had booked 4 rooms in Lincoln City, Or for one night and 4 rooms in Crescent City, CA for 4 nights. Although all were booked under mine and my kids names, in both cases, I was the only one asked for ID as I was the one paying for all the rooms. I have never, in my 30 some odd years of traveling have been asked for any other ID other then my own. The issue I had with this check in was that the front desk asked to see and photo copy all three of the guests IDs. One only had a passport and the lady seemed hesitant to accept it. This was not my experience the first time the "kids" stayed here. Would I ever stay or book here again knowing that this might be a policy? No. There are other hotels in the area that are just as inexpensive that the check in would be a a lot smoother.

"Breakfast" (cartons of milk, small pastries and fruit) wasn't available until after 8am, an hour after I was out to my event. Watch out for ants in the ground floor rooms. I've used this motel for 3 years in a row. Each year had more issues. I will not be back.

Good space for the price. Gets the job done

The only thing I would recommend is 2 shower tub mats. My husband slipped inside the tub because the mat didn't cover all and so he slipped because the tub was very slippery.

Parking was adequate. Bed was clean and comfortable.

This Hotel desperately needs a renovation. The breakfast time start at eight, which is too late for transit travelers. There is a specific kind of old smell in a room. Now, the positives: Hotel stuff is friendly and willing to help if any questions arise. The room has all the amenities it needs, such as microwave refrigerator and coffee machine. This hotel is a bargain, if you’re willing to accept certain short comings.

Spend a little bit more to go somewhere else.

For the money and a place to sleep it was fine for the coat.

The motel was close to the event I was in. I was out of the motel by 7:15 am every morning. Website said breakfast is from 6am to 9am. It was not. Staff said 8am breakfast. I booked this room so that I could eat before my event. That never happened. It was a hot weekend, at least the air-conditioner worked. Hot water took 15 minutes to heat up!

It is conveniently located near grocery stores and food options. The rooms were ok. When we first got to the room it had a smell but then we left the door cracked open for a little bit then the smell went away. The breakfast did not have much options when I went between the hours I was told. And they only refill it once. Staff was very nice.

Air conditioning, coffee pot, microwave and fridge worked well.
