Alpine Lodge Queenstown

The staff are really friendly and accomodative to needs. The manager was very kind to offer a bigger room at the same price paid. The common areas are being cleaned everyday, so you can expect a clean tidy place. Location was great. Thank you Taff! Would've been great to have laundry service installed in the building for convenience.

Really really friendly staff, the location is great! I could sleep very well in the bed. Kitchen was great to use. Parking was hard to get and facilities like shampoo or shower gel were not provided :(

location and the facilities for cooking and storing things. Because we all share the same facilities, the lodge provides many things for convenience. Though there is no bathroom for each room, it has enough shared bathrooms for us to use and very convenient. This is beyond my expectation. The lower double bed in my bunk bed has partially lower "ceiling" so that I could not sit up sometimes. But I could manage it. Probably the other bunk beds do not have this issue.

Only 3 parkilng spots available at the Lodge on a first come basis. The rest of the guests had to fend for themselves. Street parking is extremely difficult and carparks ( downtown) all had paid parking from 8am to 6pm. Do yourself a favor and catch an Intercity bus - if you intend staying downtown. On tne plus side thougj, (once you do find a spot) is that you can walk around freely as most eating places were open till late (visited in January)

The cleanliness! The manager of the property was a clean freak. He got in the room to open the blinds and the window without asking any of the the people that were sleeping if it was alright, then came with the vacuum while there was 5 of us trying to sleep. Not very “welcoming”

I really didn’t appreciate them saying there is free parking. Offering 3 parking spots should absolutely be mentioned. I chose this place specifically because it offers free parking. Imagine arriving to no parking spots available at all. I had to search for more than 30 minutes where to park my car. I believe it is misguiding to say you offer free parking. Take that into consideration.

Clean bathrooms with hot water, fully equipped kitchen, convenient location, free parking on the street Not much space to store luggage, kitchen can be cleaner - some cups and pots were not properly washed

Surprisingly quiet in spite of being fully booked, very clean and super comfortable beds. Perfect location, easy walk into town No complaints at all
