Proximity to cbd

Room was located on 2nd floor and faced over the local Primary School so could see the mountains, gondola and paragliding landings. Heater worked and was very effective. Could get extra supplies of teabags, milk etc without needing to contact staff Location was excellent within minutes of central city. Bathroom layout meant only a small space around toilet. Not ideal for tall or large persons

Excellent location, easy walk to CBD and most activities. Room was good size, nicely decorated, super clean, very comfy. Management friendly and welcoming; they happily accommodated special requests. Parking very convenient. Will definitely be back.
-
Comfortable bed; AC unit; good kitchenette Room felt a little small; being on the ground level with exposure to the car park was challenging when we wanted to leave the curtains open as there would be no privacy
-
Location ! Easy access to everything. The rooms were small and cramped.
-
Good location. A 5-10 minute walk to all sorts of restaurants, the gondola, the Queenstown Gardens, and waterfront, etc. There was a laundry room ($) available on the property and access to extra supplies for the room as needed. The owner is very friendly. My husband found the bed comfortable. It was a bit too hard for me. Nothing to complain about.

All good

Great location. Walkable to downtown and the gondola. Clean comfortable rooms. Friendly helpful staff Nothing

Location was very nice! The parking was quite small, so be careful when exiting. There was a certain smell in the room.
-
Very nice and centrally located
-
First and foremost, this is not a hotel but a motel with many motorists.
-
Good location Appreciate that umbrellas were available especially on a rainy day The car park exit was rather tight
-
Spotlessly clean, great location, quiet, extremely comfortable well equipped rooms. Good laundry too Nothing

Laundry, in room coffee set up, location to town was fine — about a 10 min walk. Room was small — very little room to maneuver around our luggage— and close to parking lot so we could hear people coming/going, closing car doors, etc.

Loved how clean it was. Loved the closeness to town. Loved the bathroom. The room was cozy. Nice to have a little kitchenette. Well stocked. But it was also a little tight. However, the ONLY real complaint I have with the whole experience is the bed was not comfortable for me. The sheets were hard to deal with cause they kept moving around. Not staying tucked in too well. The mattresses was not comfortable. But then, I loved the pillows.

The unit was very clean; the owner's written explanation for amenities was thorough and easy to follow; extra linen and coffee etc available in the laundry; close to town - 10 minute walk, also close to produce/deli store in the same street. Owner very helpful. The shower rose is a water economy one (I think) - meant in the middle no water came out; would be frustrating after day's skiing, wet and cold. Also there's no shelving or basket or anything in the shower stall to put cleanser's, soaps, shampoos etc on. It all has to go on the floor & as the shower rose in fixed, you get wet hair bending down all the time. Also the water goes out into the room quite a way, unavoidable. But otherwise it was goo.

Clean, comfortable. The smallest place we stayed, a little cramped.
-
The property was close to town & the gondola but also far enough to be quieter. I got photos of the Southern Lights from there, which was thrilling! Having sliding doors as the entrance was a bit awkward with the need to keep the curtains closed for privacy.

Bella Vista is perfectly located in a quiet area and only a 5-7 minute walk to Queenstown CBD, Skyline Gondola and the waterfront and a supermarket is only a 3 minute walk away. It has easy access to all the routes to Glenorchy, Milford Sound, Arrowtown etc. The room we had was perfect for us. It was very clean and comfortable and had crockery, utensils and a microwave. The staff were very friendly and helpful with information about local eateries and coffee shops. Plus off street parking is included. The views were excellent.
