Wonderful location right across the street from the palace!

Affordable good quality accommodation, of historic interest. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. The receptionists were very helpful and gave us information about the local restaurants and transport links. Breakfast was excellent. Everything about our stay was very good.

The building is excellent in terms of its quality and amenities. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The breakfast was probably the best hotel breakfasts from a hotel in a long time! Excellent selection, quality, and variety of foods. The hotel is directly across the street from the palace and in close proximity to a large park / green space and walkable to the town center and the train (if needed). Nothing. Everything was very good! More outlets would be helpful for modern travelers, but we were prepared and made do.

On December 31st, breakfast service experienced some disorganization, which is understandable given that key personnel were on holiday leave.

Average breakfast, bathroom needs renovation, room was little cold.

Excellent hotel, very clean and comfortable, spacious rooms - more like small apartment, great beds and pillows, nice large bathrooms with separate toilet. Excellent breakfast with great selection. Conveniently located for travel if you plan on exploring the country- 20 min to Lisbon, very close to Sintra, about 2 hours to Porto. Good restaurants around (nice prices too). Extremely welcoming staff. Large parking lot, free. Nothing, all was great.

The staff is outstanding! The breakfast is exceptional. The room was huge. Parking is extensive and convenient. Sometimes there was a unpleasant odor in room and hall. We were towards end of corridor and seemed to be limited to that area.

Could not take breakfast due to delay in timings of breakfast, Attitude of reception desk could have been better . They asked for money inspite of payment already made through booking.com .This was very disturbing and rediculous.

Front desk ladies were fantastic, very helpful.

They let us check in 2, hours earlier. Room was OK. Couldn't open the window as was on ground floor a worked well.. Breakfast again was lovely and great choices. One of the staff was very rude and made us feel very uncomfortable.

Comfortable beds and it was all we could get after an electrical shutdown. Old doors and heavy keys banging against them as they were opened and closed day and night. Young staff member couldn’t understand anything we asked. Charged for water which should have been in the room. No food available except cheese and ham sandwich. No hot food at all. Not a 4 Star hotel.

We have stayed here before I like the location across from the palace. I am able to see the palace before the bus tours come.. to be all by yourself and a gorgeous big palace what could be better ? my husband enjoyed the easy access to park for jogging. I like the fact that it was quieter than staying in the busy square sintra we can park right in front of the Posada and I know it is extremely difficult in SINTRA a number of good restaurants located nearby huge breakfast on a beautiful trestle table in the stone breakfast room filled with baking treats. Posada is always a treat. Good recommendation for seniors It was a bit far from the airport so we needed to get Up early to catch a flight the next day we miss breakfast this time, but they packed us a paper bag lunch

The room was lovely, the little extras were great...Bottled, water, refrigerator and a safe. The breakfast was superb couldn't fault it`, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The pillows weren´t to my liking, just couldn´t get comfortable.. The mattress was old and dipped noticeably even with a reasonable topper on it. Staffing on reception was a bit lacking at times, having to wait for someone to attend, from other duties., but very apologetic when they returned.

Great food, top notch bedding, very helpful staff, fantastic location. It would have been nice if the hotel had some outside seating / day time restaurant. I suspect this will be down to planning/zoning regulations.
