Hotel Restaurant Seegarten Quickborn

Nice breakfast, good location, lots of parking, a nice park with a pond in the garden, allowing for nice dog walks before bed time. Right now the hotel is a bit empty, as it is being refurbished. Gives a bit of a ghost town feeling.

There is plenty of free parking around the hotel. Located right next to a park and a small lake where you can stroll around. The beds are comfortable, although the sheets do feel a bit hard and scratchy. I usually bring my own bedding, to feel at home. The breakfast is lovely. Plenty to choose from, with fresh breadrolls and scrambled eggs. The hotel is currently under refurbishment, so some of the rooms are not in use, which makes the hotel feel a little empty. The garden restaurant is also not open at the moment. But that's only a temporary issue, until everything is ready and done up nicely.

Large room, clean. Parking lots right under the building. Nice surprise to find an italian resto on walking distance, at the tennis court. Rather cold when I arrived, it took quite a while. There is a charger for electrical cars next to the golf course, but this is immensely expensive.

Nonrefundable ticket. But I changed my mind the day before.

A bit of an outdated hotel but it was clean and the staff was very friendly. My dog was welcome but not allowed to go to the restaurant. A bit of a surprise was the closeness to a shooting range as my dog is a bit sound sensitive, but luckily the shooting ended quite early and so we did have a quiet night sleep. Breakfast was good value for the money. I would come back again on my way through to Scandinavia.

Awful stench in the room, not sure if it was mold or urine. Stained carpet. If we hadn't arrived so late in the evening, we would have left without staying. The next morning, the staff didn't bother to ask how our experience was, only wanted to know if we had already paid for the dog. I'll have nightmares about this place.

We heared noise from the highway all night, it was a very warm night so we couldn't close the window. When closed you hardly hear the highway.

Room is spacious and clean, and beds are comfortable. We came after the reception was closed but we got message with all the info regarding check in and it was easy. Breakfast was delicious. Everything was good.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a very good buffet. Beds are comfy, just would have liked an extra pillow. It is not that I did not like it, but it seems the property is still the same as 25 years ago. Everything is very clean and functioning, but it feels a little bit like a museum.

Nice room and bed, very clean. Very cheap breakfast - constantly refilled by someone - so great service. Staff very friendly. Overall, nice atmosphere, nice view from dining room, nice carpet everywhere so good feeling. Pillow is extremily thin - need a second/extra pillow or thicker pillow. Definitely something to improve. I will request extra pillow next time I come for sure. Any jam in a big pot would be better quality that the jam in individual plastic closed container and most likely even more economic.
