Amazing staff who could not be more helpful. Beautiful historic building with fresh modern renovations. Comfortable beds and spacious shower. Beautiful breakfasts and gardens to sit out in. A couple of very good restaurants near by. The location is a little out of the way which makes it quiet and not touristy at all and isn’t far from gallipoli which has a lot. Location a bit far from beaches. You have to do a fair bit of driving to explore things because Salento is quite spread out.

The residence is a little oasis, hidden within the town. The courtyard is beautiful, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was split level and very grand. The breakfast is wonderful. The rooftop terrace is fanstastic for a cooling dip or pre-dinner drinks. Nothing comes to mind.

Don Alfonso is really a place to relax and enjoy your vacation. Very beautiful place, clean, luxurious and quiet. The staff is VERY friendly and makes the guest feel 100% comfortable. The Lady at the reception took such good care of us and even gave us a lot of tips what to visit and where to eat. The breakfast ist a very nice mix of sweet and salty, typical Italian foods. Everything is carefully chosen and the service personnel is also very friendly. Racale is not directly at the beach but there are a lot of beaches nearby, easily accessible by car. We really recommend staying there, to enjoy your stay in Salento!!

The hotel was lovely and very accommodating for our last minute booking (after a disaster elsewhere). The rooms are equipped with everything you could need, beds very comfy and breakfast was very good! The roof terrace was a hidden gem and plunge pool was lovely to sit in and relax. We enjoyed dinner on the roof one night and the hotel provided all crockery and cutlery for us. Couldn’t fault the hotel and facilities. Just have an ongoing issue with a double charge on my card but this is in the process of being rectified and just one of those things! Definitely recommend. A little tricky to find.

The host Ericka was very friendly and provided us with all the information needed in advance. The location is excellent, very spacious and clean rooms with all the comfort you need. Excellent breakfast served in this well renovated old building. Highly appreciated.

The staff were so lovely and helpful! The breakfast was amazing! It became one of my favourite things to do. There's no on-site parking, but I quickly realised it was very easy to find free nearby parking on the street. Not all of the rooms have been renovated but still very clean regardless.

Everything was perfect, the room was spacious and clean with own access from the street and private terrace. Besides the great architecture the staff was super friendly, funny and helpful. We love Puglia anyways and the stay made us love it even more. -

Rooms are clean, spacious and beautifully furnished, keeping the classic local style of the antique masseria. The breakfast is good and there’s a possibility to add organic breakfast for a fee. Loved the coffee maker available 24h. The location is perfect, lots of parking in the premises and 5 seconds walk to two good restaurants. Supermarkets and bar also at a walking distance. Easily access with 10/15 mins drive to most of the beaches of Gallipoli, Ugento and surroundings. Need to double the keys and access device that turns power on in the room so that people can get in/out separately
