Would recommend staying here! Nice rooms, breakfast available and a nice bar!

Stayed here two different nights, the first night was okay. They gave us a bad room with a broken shower. The second time around we booked the same room but this time it was in way better condition. It really just depends the employee you get at the front desk. Some staff were nice, some not so much. Other than that, such a nice place to stay at!

First of all, this hotel gives out itself located in north hills! False, its two exits down from north hills. The ‘North Hills’ in the title of this hotel is the reason I stayed there. This is one of the oldest hotels in Raleigh and it definitely looks it on the outside. The lobby is very nice but that’s about it. Again, another old hotel going through some type of construction making it look hideous and decrepit from the outside. And it’s a next door to a restaurant that had a shooting there recently. Very upset when I made my reservation, paid in full and pulled up to this! The bathtub had stains that washed out which means it was not cleaned properly. And countertop in the bathroom was pulling away from the wall. And there were times it looked like the hotel staff and patrons were from one area only. Mix it up guys. We thought we’d walked into a place in Haiti. Yeah, you get it.

Hotel was a bit rundown. Our room smelled like smoke. One of the beds did not have a top sheet.

Upon arrival we were greeted with friendly staff and a well-maintained and cleaned lobby. The atmosphere was inviting and warm and cozy. We felt safe during our stay and our room exceeded our expectations. Room was cleaned and bedding was very comfortable and warm. The hotel's restaurant offered a hearty breakfast selection with kind staff and reasonable prices. The hotel was quiet during the twilight hours and that was appreciated. Check-out was a breeze. We look forward to booking at this hotel very soon for our next trip to Raleigh.

Tried to use the iron in the room and it was not working at all after having on for 20 mins it was barely warm and the phone in my room was dusty and crusty so I was no about to use it to call down stairs. The tv went out while I was watching a show. Was a sad reflection of the stay.

The bathroom was horrible. The water is not going down. The ceiling is open.

Love this hotel!

Missed attention on things like only 3 towels (4 staying in the room), missing bath mat and robe when room was cleaned, burned out light bulb in the bathroom. The rest of the room was clean and in good condition but lower floor rooms were in a lesser quality state (dirty and mold around bathtub) I booked this room for the free continental breakfast but was told it was not available. After some back and forth they resolved it by offering the free breakfast. The price difference was $30/night and I specifically booked the higher priced room for the breakfast.

The towels were stained with purple dye. The shower wouldn’t drain and dripped all night, wouldn’t shut off. Room was clean, but there was a lot of construction going on beside the parking lot and just didn’t look like what the pictures showed in the ad. Starbucks wouldn’t take the app because they aren’t a “true Starbucks” per the barista. Breakfast options wasn’t worth the money for buffet. Overall we wouldn’t come back to this hotel. At least we had a place to sleep for the night.
