Campagne les Jumeaux

Location near Nikki Beach, a little bit of a hike, not safe at night as there are no sidewalks. BED BUGS!!!, Rude manager, threatening to call police. Forced to evacuate to another property due to the BED BUG infestation and rude manager threatening us. Pool was green- algae covered, not usable. No door code was provided for the front gate, difficult to communicate with the manager due to language barrier.

Excellent host & chef - very welcoming and friendly. Took care of me the entire time. The amenities were outstanding. Location-wise, it’s difficult to reach. Uber drivers lose signal coming up the hill. At night it is very dark and difficult to navigate the property - would be good to put landscape lights along the walkway to the gate.

Great location, beautiful property, and amazing staff (shout out to Sabina and Valentine for taking great care of us during our stay). Would highly recommend if visiting the Ramatuelle area.

Breakfast was good but there was no water offered for the table and fruit was not provided each day No water in the room or tea / coffee making facilities. It was not immediately obvious if the water in the fridge in the main kitchen was for guests to help themselves. A small table and chairs on the balcony would have been helpful.

The property is conveniently located and is a beautiful building. We happened to coincide with the host while i was waiting for a cab. She offered me a ride to drop off on her way to the town center. I recently stayed at Campagne Les Jumeaux and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. Here are some key points that made my stay unpleasant: Hygiene Issues: Upon arrival, I found gum stuck to the nightstand in my room, which is completely unacceptable for any establishment, especially one charging 500 euros per night. Poor Maintenance: The pool was mossy and unmaintained, with dirt on the pool ground and moss building up on the pool walls, making it unusable and a clear health hazard. Additionally, towels in the common areas were not picked up for long durations, contributing to an overall sense of neglect. False Advertising: Despite the listing mentioning direct access to a private beach, this was not the case. We had no direct access and had to use public beach areas. Unattentive Host: The host was largely inattentive and did not provide any explanations or guidance about the premises. When we raised concerns, the host dismissively told us to leave a bad review, claiming they were used to it. Kitchen Restrictions: The kitchen was off-limits for cooking or any form of self-service, and the host did not offer any alternative like having staff cook for the purchased supplies. This restriction severely limited our convenience and flexibility during the stay. Non-functional Grill: The grill didn’t work, andr when we asked the manager about it, she simply responded, "Nothing works here," which was both unhelpful and discouraging. Lack of Basic Amenities: Bottled water was unavailable, and when we requested something to drink, we were informed that anything else would incur an extra cost. After 15-20 minutes of back-and-forth, we were finally told that tap water was drinkable. This lack of clear communication was frustrating and unprofessional.

Exceptional

Rooms are spacious, with a small dressing. Overpriced for the basic room and deficient service that we got. Inattentive host, not professional. Room service was unexistemt, needing to ask for towels replacement and toilet paper. The toilet and bathroom were not immaculate clean.

The breakfast was good The pool area looked a little sad, not like in the photos, no cushions or beds on the sun loungers Also was told on booking .com that you had a private beach area which was one of the reasons we picked this location. As this is no longer true you need to update your details.

Very good

Absolutely everything! This place was so fabulous and in walking distance to the beach and all the beach clubs. The house was sparkling clean and the staff were absolutely exceptional. The room was nice and spacious with a balcony and incredible view of the vast property. I can’t speak highly enough of Lawrence and Yves who truly went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and fed! They truly made us feel so at home. The dogs were adorable. I could go on and on about how incredible this place was so just take my word and stay here if it’s available! Nothing at all!

This is a really unusual place to stay at, but in the best possible way. A large country house with 6 or 7 very comfortable rooms, set in shaded gardens, with a great swimming pool, and genuinely a short walk from the Pampelone beach (often "near the beach" is a bit of an exaggeration). Great welcome from Laurence and Yves, with ongoing but discrete attention to our needs. Unfortunately single room booking is not often, or never, available in high season, when the whole house is booked by wealthy customers, but a fantastic choice up until or after high season. It is a little on the expensive side ... but not drastically so, and this is, after all "Saint Tropez". We didn't regret spending the money :-)

This place is a hidden gem! We had the whole house and facilities to ourselves for 3 nights. The host were the most beautiful couple who had breakfast and the setting prepared everyday. It’s a 200 metre walk from Nikki’s beach club and close to the hiking trails. We loved our stay and will definitely be back. Make sure you contact the property prior to let them know when you’re arriving as it’s a gated house and requires a code to get into the property (great for being secure). This was our favourite stay while in South of France.
