Beautiful settings with a lot to choose from. The friendlyness of the staff was a pleasure. The layout of the different function facilities are great. Our bed in room 11 one side is really uncomfortable you can feel the springs. there was coffee & tea offered in the room, but no kettle.

My time at The Garden Venue Hotel was interesting most of all lovely venue i did think the staff were fantastic coming from the hospitality industry too in Cape Town. The food was also wonderful too. The room as you pass the kitchen door on the left downstairs just out that entrance on the left with pvt entrance woodern poles , the room was actually quite small in comparison to what i could have gotten nearby however i was only upset at the fact that the bathroom window didnt close and the tv did not work. It switched on however dstv did not work.

Nice shower Complimentary bottle of cheap wine for bed not being made. Bed wasn't made. No ambience. Receptionist was hopeless and lied continuously rather than resolve the problem.

The breakfast was under par. Everything was cold and the scrambled eggs were finished. I have already advised the Hotel of this fact. Directions to the breakfast venue. More wheelchair/mobility access to the venues on site. Very difficult to navigate with someone who has mobility problems. More handrails would have been appreciated.

Excellent Location 1) Does not have wheelchair ramps which made it difficult to move a family member around 2) AC in the room did not work, it was ditterly cold overnight.
