Stoke Hotel SureStay Collection by Best Western

Worst experience..didnt like anything. Lots of mosquitoes in room..outside hot tub water not clean full of mosquitoes there. Coffee machine have spider web. Didnt recommend to anyone to stay that hotel.

Disappointing

Very friendly staff and helpful Nothing wrong

Hot tub was the only thing our party of 6 (family) enjoyed. We booked two rooms, carpets were filthy. I will attach a photo. Cobwebs all around the site. Rooms were small, walls thin, lack of towels, I can’t tell you how bad the carpets were, stained and filthy. Very old hotel.

The hot tub, that’s it. - absoutley filthy carpets (see photos stained…) - staff at front desk not overly friendly - thin walls - mediocre breakfast not hot but sat out for long time so Luke warm. - extremely old building that’s run down and thrown some teal paint over top.

breakfast was fine, hotel was clean, staff was helpful There was no elevator. My husband and I are Seniors and our suitcases heavy. The staff didn't offer to help us. A guest ended up taking our things to our room.

Excellent breakfast. Ventilation sustems are way too loud and at night it is hard to sleep with all the noise.

The view Everything about this condo was a nightmare. They were more worried about being found out than our safety when the CO2 monitor when off. The unit was not entirely clean, lack of linens. Table cloth covering the couch, Basic kitchen amenities, Mold on the shower curtain, no bath mat which made it extremely difficult to get out of the tub. Lack of communication. Late night interuptions. Questionable if it is a legit booking that was approved by their property management. I was told to lie when the CO2 went off to say I was friends of the owner. No concern four our safety, only their necks

Not much Room was pretty small and sparse. For a cheaper rate I had a much better room at the Sandman hotel next door.

Superb

The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was decent, some fruit, some cooked options plus cereal and coffee etc. The location was good, could walk into the town and very easy to find. Was a bit noisy overnight with the trains coming past.

Lavish Breakfast with generous menu having all fresh items ! A-As soon as we tried microwave to warm up food, the power went off, called person at reception and you could hardly hear what was being said. Anyways got back power, tried warming up again and came across the same issue. We requested a room change and tried same in this new room which to no surprise had same issue. B- Its an old building with windows having no insulation to noise, its by the main road and was very loud so we were provided with ear plugs, i wish i knew this before hand.

Shuttle bus into town No option of room choice without using stairs which was not possible due to heavy luggage We had to take a smaller option but there was no change in price

We had a great view from 306 of the mountains which was very nice. We were also very pleased with the breakfast provided and the cute decor of the breakfast spade. Lack of elevator when lugging suitcases is a little inconvenient. Rooms are pretty basic and there was only one bedside table and no table lamp which means that you either sit in the dark or have to get up to switch off the light when ready to sleep.
