The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The bistro food is great, and we had fun at trivia. The hallway had a smell, not sure if it was the carpet or something else. Definitely a smoker nearby. We left our window open for fresh air and train and traffic noise is the trade off.

On the train line, nice bar downstairs, room was nice, wifi worked. Shared spaces (bathroom, kitchen and stairwell) were unclean.

The bed was comfortable I had the best medium rare steak in the Bar that I had in a long time My room was upstairs and faced one of the main roads in Padstow and so was quite noisy
