Cava d'Oro

We had a very pleasant stay! The hotel is lovely, location is very good (close to the center of the old town, but away from the noise). The breakfast is very delicious and the staff is very nice helpful ? Definitely recommend!

Nothing. Pillows could maybe be a bit more comfortable, but a very minor gripe when everything was so good.

The owner was fantastic. I had to work all day on my last day of the trip, and he took care of me like family. He brought me coffee and fruit and just kept me going. Lovely person and wonderful place. Restaurant nearby “at Thomas” also had the best saganaki, I had it 3 times in 2 days.

The staff and service at this hotel were exceptional. The location is in the heart of old town but still quiet and tucked away. Minutes walking to so many attractions, and did I mention how great the owner was. They went above and beyond for our group of 3 even though we only stayed one night. I will for sure be back. Each room seems to have its own small patio for coffee or sitting outside. It was perfect.

George is a Superhero! He welcomed me when I came in late. He showed me the property and gave me the history. He was very accommodating and even took me to the port to catch the ferry! I would have missed it without him. He got on the motorcycle, and we were there in a minute. The breakfast was amazing. You can tell someone worked hard to make sure the spread looked and tasted out of this world. The property was in great shape. The bed was comfortable, and the room was elaborate. This place was great for the money. But George made it amazing!

This small family hotel has a fantastic location. In the old town, a short walk to restaurants, the port, beaches. The rooms and the architecture are beautiful. George and Alexia do a great job continuing this family tradition.

It was excellent in all aspects. Most notably, as a solo traveller, I received plenty of support without ever feeling overbearing. I already know which hotel to book the next time I visit Rhodes

We had a wonderful stay! The room was clean and spacious and we were greeted by the owner Alexia, who was kind and very helpful. During our stay we felt at home thanks to both the staff interactions and the beauty of the rooms. To our surprise, the hotel offers a small breakfast buffet with unique food choices and great coffee! We want to point out that from the plates and mugs to the whole hotel, Cava Doro tells a story, everything is in medieval style, which we love. There are little Easter eggs everywhere around the hotel that transport you back to medieval times and you lose the sense that you're in a hotel. We couldn't have been happier about our stay! The location was also exceptional, just 3-5 minutes from the old town of Rhodes. Looking forward to coming back! Nope. Cant think of something.

The owners are amazing. Outdoor courtyard is lovely. The cleaning staff was incredible. Great location!!!! We did not have a window other than upstairs which took a bit to get used to but the staff was lovely and we really just slept in the room, otherwise were out and about.

Exceptional breakfast, cleverly designed rooms, and beautiful space. But above all, the kindness and gentleness of the people who run Cava d'Or place this hotel a level above all the very many options one has in the Old Town. Thank you Yorgos and Alexia for a phenomenal stay. Can't wait to be back.
