It’s a stunning piece of history that feels like you’ve stepped back in time. The building carries so much history and memory. Nothing I didn’t like.

Wonderful

The Hostess was very friendly and gave us a wealth of information on touring and which restaurants to go to. All were excellent choices! The hotel is so unique - built from ruins from the old city. Very beautiful place which included a beautiful garden. We were sorry we did not spend more time in Rhodes so we could enjoy more of the hospitality. Our room was cozy and comfortable. We loved the old brick walls. That we didn’t stay longer. There is nothing we did not like. So I have nothing negative to say.

Great hosts, fabulous breakfasts

Really lovely place in perfect location with super nice owner/host. N/A. Amazing place.

We stayed 3 nights at this gorgeous hotel. The hosts, Katerina and her husband, were so accommodating and made us feel like part of the family. The home-cooked breakfast every morning was excellent, and the location was perfect — so close to everything. We would definitely recommend this place.

Nothing it is perfection!

The restored medieval building which once housed Knights Hospitallier was magnificently brought back to life! The breakfast offered new Greek taste treats every day. The hosts, Katarina and Zafer, are dear sweet people who were daringly professional, very personable, and most helpful in offering suggestions and solving problems. We could have stayed longer than four days! We liked everything and plan to return for another stay.

We loved the charm, the history and the owner/hostess, Katarina. She was gracious and so helpful arranging transfers for us. Upon our arrival she greeted us and invited us to sit with her to learn about the Town and offer recommendations. She truly cares that her guests enjoy their stay! Breakfast was exceptional! She served a variety of items in a peaceful and beautiful setting. The location was perfect, right in Old Town! The bed and pillows are so comfortable! It is a historic building that has been renovated to provide all the modern amenities, yet it has kept its historical ambience. It is absolutely gorgeous! I loved it! I will definitely recommend this boutique hotel to all my Friends! And I hope to come back and stay here again!

My fiancee and LOVED our stay at Porolithos Boutique Hotel for its warm, genuine hospitality and beautifully designed room that felt both comfortable and thoughtfully curated. Breakfast on our balcony was a real highlight with fresh, generous, and beautifully arranged with care each morning. Zafeiris and Katerina (and their daughter) made us feel truly welcomed, turning a lovely stay into a memorable regal experience. Neatly tucked away in a quiet area of Old Town, Porolithos gave us a glimpse of what life may have been like many centuries ago. From the masterfully renovated property to carefully selected decor, every space in the property left us in awe. We were able to easily access by foot all areas of Old Town and the surrounding areas. No issues whatsoever with noise, safety or access. We walked all the way to the Acropolis, St. Stephen's Hill and other areas well beyond the Old Town walls. Whether you are looking for a cozy romantic getaway or a nice quiet area for family, we strongly recommend a stay at Porolithos Boutique Hotel. We have visited many beautiful places in the past few years (e.g., Seville, Istanbul, Venice, Nice, Lisbon, etc.) and our stay with Zafeiris and Katerina may have topped all of them! 10/10! Nothing at all. Our stay was perfect!

Katerina was an excellent host. She offered a breakfast with a variety of options including fresh fruit and yogurt everyday along with eggs, sandwiches, omelets, pancakes and more. She helped us locate restaurants since we were there in December when most places were closed. And she arranged a fabulous tour guide.

Exceptional! Such a gem in the medieval center of Rhodes

This was one of the loveliest hotel stays I've ever had. Katerina is incredible! Upon arrival, she shared the history of the city, gave us recommendations, and then made arrangements for us to take a boat trip to Lindos the following day. Because the boat trip was leaving early, she got up early and made us the most delicious breakfast before we headed out for the day. She arranged both of our airport transfers (which is important because the taxi drops you outside the ancient city and Katerina arranges for an electric golf cart to pick you up and bring you to the hotel). The bed is very comfortable and the outside courtyard where they serve breakfast is out of a storybook and every single thing they made us was incredible. And they only have FIVE rooms so book in advance because you do not want to miss this!

This is a family owned and run boutique hotel. It is a newly renovated villa with only a few rooms. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were amazing. The location is near a plaza of the old city with all the restaurants, shops, nightlife, and the docks for daily excursions to nearby islands ... but in a quite location. We loved our visit.

My wife and I stayed at Katarina’s place for two nights, and it was a wonderful experience. Katarina and her family—Zafeiris, Dimitra, and Spyros—were incredibly hospitable and made us feel truly welcome. Their 800-year-old home is absolutely beautiful, and the breakfast was superb! They even provided us beach towels upon request. The only very minor point was that the bath towels were a bit on the rough side, but it really didn’t affect our stay at all. We understand that for a family-run Airbnb, frequent towel replacement can be costly, and everything else more than made up for it.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and staying at this hotel is an entire experience! It has been beautifully restored and you can tell Katerina has paid attention to every single detail. As hosts, they go above and beyond to provide a memorable experience, and are there for anything you could possibly need. The breakfast here is also incredible!! I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. A MUST STAY!!
