Exceptional Stay – The Best Hostel I've Ever Been To! Unforgettable experience and unmatched hospitality! From the moment you step inside, you are welcomed by an amazing atmosphere and fantastic energy! The staff member who checked us in (unfortunately, I can't recall his name) was incredibly hospitable, warm, and friendly—they even treated everyone to ice cream during check-in! It made for such a sweet and memorable welcome. He also gave me a gift when I checked out too??❤️❤️ I have stayed in dozens, if not hundreds, of hostels in my life, but this is hands down the best, most comfortable, and best-located hostel I have ever experienced. Highlights: Rooms: Exceptionally clean, spacious, and bright with high ceilings. Bathrooms & Showers: Spotless and perfectly maintained. Common Areas & Courtyard: There is an authentic, lush green courtyard that is super cozy, and the common areas are delightfully designed. With its kind, understanding, and constantly smiling staff, this place deserves a full 10/10 (or rather, 100/100!). If I ever come back to Rhodes, this will be the only place I stay. Highly, highly recommended! EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!!!!❤️❤️❤️

A charming hostel in the historic part of Rhodes. The owner and his family are very gracious and helpful with any concerns. The bathrooms and common areas are kept perfectly clean. There are drinks for sale which are reasonably priced. The main beaches are about a 20 minute walk, but I still prefer staying in this part of the city. Also the air conditioning does not turn on until 22:30.

Everything about my stay at Rhodes Youth Hostel was simply excellent! The true highlight of the experience is the host, Nicolas. He is exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and seemingly always available whenever you need assistance, a great local recommendation, or just a warm chat. His genuine hospitality instantly makes you feel right at home and sets an incredible tone for the entire hostel. The property itself is fantastic. The room was very nice—spotlessly clean, comfortable, and provided a great space to rest after a long day of exploring. Beyond the room, the real sanctuary of the hostel is the courtyard. It is absolutely beautiful and serves as the perfect, peaceful oasis to enjoy your morning coffee or unwind in the evening. On top of all that, you couldn't ask for a better location. It is perfectly situated, making it effortless to get out and explore everything Rhodes has to offer while still feeling like a quiet retreat when you return. From start to finish, flawless hospitality and outstanding vibes. If you are traveling to Rhodes, look no further—I cannot recommend Rhodes Youth Hostel enough! Everything was excellent, there was nothing negative about my stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The location is right in the heart of Old Town, giving access to to so so much in the city and the island. The owners were very very friendly and welcoming and they helped make my stay even better! There was nothing I found wrong with the place.

Everything, perfect location, amazing garden, clean and steady, generous, caring, helpful and smiling owner. Had never had a hostel experience this was much better than any hotel.

Nicolas, Anna and the rest of their family are the definition of what great hosts are - attentive, accommodating and approachable. During my stay I always felt welcomed and taken care of. The general atmosphere of the hostel is lovely, especially the outdoor space, which provides a nurturing ground for conversations with another travelers. Highly suggest this hostel for anyone that seeks a serene space to be in.

They change your bed if you stay al little while without you needing to ask. It’s so good! They have put AC now in the rooms. The workers are always welcoming and are here if you have any questions/need some help/advice! I definitely recommend this hostel!!

Although it's an hostel, it was over my expectations. The room was clean and comfortable and the wc was clean also.

Great location, super friendly and helpful staff, toilets always clean, cheap supermarket nearby!

The hostel is located 5 minutes away from all the bars, clubs and shopping streets of the old town, but the street the hostel is on is quiet so you won't be bothered by the music from the nearby places. The host is very friendly and nice, always around to help. Hostel is very clean and comfortable (I booked a private room with shared bathroom). The building itself is very atmospheric and beautifully preserved, we loved the garden/terrace.

Rooms are *very* spacious (for hostels) and they're all one-level beds, so no worrying about bunking. (Plus: AC and soundproof windows!!!) The social vibe of the hostel was also great, with Nicholas (the owner) going above and beyond to cultivate an environment to bring travelers together and solve problems when they arose. All in all, this was maybe the best hostel experience I've ever had—and while I probably am not in the top 1% (or even 10%) of hostel travelers, this isn't a claim made on the basis of zero experience, either. Literally the only issue I had with the property (and this is pretty minor): the combined showers/toilets were a bit janky. Luckily, I've been told that these are on their way out in the next round of renovations!

Everything. They have made also some upgrades and is sooo good. Nikos and Anna are lovely and the property is in great conditions. I felt very comfortable once again, as is the second time I’m staying there, I’ll definitely go back again as soon as I can. No complaints at all

Location The bathroom… hmm, the toilet is right next to the shower, so you have to take a shower almost in the toilet. Water gets everywhere. As for the staff, you get the feeling you’re constantly being watched. Zero privacy…

The location is amazing and unbeatable - the hostel is situated in the very heart of the old town in a historic building with decorated high ceiling, so you really feel living in the old town. All small Middle Ages - like streets are just outside your door gate, while Elli beach is a close walking distance away. Airport bus is also 10 min walk away. I really enjoyed the inner yard / garden of the hostel with beautiful plants and cozy tables to sit, although it can get very hot in the day time. The beds are not bunk beds, but normal beds with spotlessly clean sheets. Every guest gets a locker upon arrival, only it is pretty small, meant for storing precious things like laptop, but not suitable for fitting in the whole bag. Luggage can be safely stored before check-in and after check-out. There is also a small kitchen, but it is really so small that I don't think anyone is really cooking there (people were mainly using the fridge, there is also a water boiler, common use dishes, if you want to eat the food from outside). Showers are combined with toilets and very small, basically there is a hole in the bathroom floor for the water to go in; I think this is common in South countries, plus toilets and showers were always very clean; soap and toilet paper was available all the time. Wifi was working fine; I think it would be sufficient for those working remotely. The owners are very helpful, kind and hard-working, they keep the hostel very clean at all times. I felt like at home and would definitely come back to stay for longer time (I stayed 3 days this time). All in all, you couldn't find anything for a comparable quality and price in that location. To be honest, based on my experience, you cannot find find accommodation for this price and quality in the whole island of Rhodes! There was nothing wrong, only a few points for other travelers to note. There is no air conditioner, only a fan. We were sleeping with open windows and it was quite alright. Also, there might be some noise from the street, as windows are open and the location is very central. That wasn't a trouble for me, but I sleep hard enough. Lastly, if you live on the second floor, the toilets and showers are only on the first floor.
