Absolutely gorgeous grounds. We loved sitting out and having drinks in the evening, listening to the piano. Rooms are very nice. Great pool, with good service from the pool area. During our time at the pool, a hotel employee appeared to be giving local kids full-blown swim lessons. Hard to relax and sip your wine while six kids on kick boards come flying toward you. The kids were adorable, it just didn’t seem appropriate for the setting. Maybe they could do this in the off season? The pool was packed with hotel guests and there was just no room for this. Other small issues were the service at the bar, which was extremely slow. It felt like they just didn’t have enough staff for peak season. The Internet was also painfully slow. We also got massages. The spa facilities and massage experience were very subpar and now at the level of the hotel overall. It felt like a budget massage. Very disappointing and I don’t recommend it.

It’s absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed the lovely grounds and atmosphere. Very close to the sea with local restaurants nearby. The vibe at the bar, while listening to the piano and sitting outside was a great experience. There were some odd things about the pool. There were literal swim lessons occurring while we were in the pool. A hotel employee was coaching 5-6 girls as they swam laps and did diving lessons while we were sipping wine in the pool. It was strange to all of a sudden be swarmed by a group of girls in a swim lessons while we tried to relax. I think they should keep their swim lessons to off hours or something because this was distracting and inconvenient. Also, the lifeguard wouldn’t allow our kids to jump from the side into the pool. I completely understand if this was a safety issue and we would respect the rules, but the swim instructor/hotel employee was giving his students diving instructions. Not sure why the rules were different for hotel guests. The Internet sucked.

Amazing breakfast, good staff and really pretty hotel. Would come again! Also, the gardener was very kind to us, shoutout to him.

The history of the hotel and it's beauty. Takes you back to the time of movie stars and the rich and famous who have stayed there. The grounds, the lobby, dining room and sitting room are just outstanding. For a European hotel a large bathroom with a jetted tub. Wonderful service. They could use a bigger pool.

The bed was comfortable and the staff was very good. The location is fantastic and the breakfast was excellent. It was a short walk to the beach. We also booked massages with June who gave massages to myself and my whole family. June was fantastic. There are many places to relax in the lobby and we can see that weddings and other events are very common here. A beautiful hotel with such an incredible beautiful structure both inside and outside. Surprised they don't have smart TVs with apps although we were out everyday enjoying our visit with relatives. We were surprised to see someone else's luggage in our room when we checked in and had to call the reception.

The Grand Hotel Rimini is a beautiful historic property full of old-world charm and elegant public spaces. Unfortunately, my stay was significantly impacted by noise. My original room faced the beach, and I was awakened at approximately 1:30 a.m. by extremely loud techno music from nearby beach clubs. The music continued well into the night, making it impossible to sleep. At around 3:00 a.m., I requested a room change. The staff were helpful and accommodated my request, which I appreciated. However, the replacement room was substantially smaller and featured a twin bed instead of the king-size bed in my original room, making it a noticeable downgrade in comfort and quality. Although the room faced the parking lot rather than the beach, I could still hear the bass from the music clubs. Unable to sleep, I read online reviews and discovered that similar complaints have been reported for years. While the hotel explained that the noise comes from private businesses outside its control, I believe additional measures such as better soundproofing or providing earplugs would help guests. As a five-star hotel, I expected a level of comfort and sleep quality consistent with that standard. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet those expectations. What a pity that such a beautiful hotel is overshadowed by noise pollution. Sadly, based on this experience, I would not choose to stay here again.

The pool didnt work and thats the main reason i booked this hotel!

Breakfast was not as good as everyone raved about, but overall this is an amazing old hotel, with rooms that are grande and views that are spectacular. I came off season, so did not have a chance to try the private beach, but definitely would like to come back. Down side is that this hotel seems to be always sold out. Breakfast was just OK.

Excellent location, we had a great view from our room. breakfast buffett was great If we had come during a warmenr time we could have used the pool or the beach, so we missed that. But this is not the fault of the hotel.

the entire experience that was possible exceptional building and facility

Great hotel, and at a very good location. Breakfast buffet was really good. Spa was really good and clean. the room was at 26°C in October and No air condition. A ton of mosquitoes outside and we could not open the windows. Use of Spa at €80 per person, for two hours, was expensive.

The beautiful building and its history. The gardens. Electronic lighting controls by the bed: when you switch off, a light comes on in the ante room, so you have to get up to switch it off and crawl back to bed in the dark. Defeats the purpose! Chaos at breakfast: no spare tables - apart from the dozen on the mezzanine which staff were reluctant to use. Arrangements for residents: On 1 of my 4 nights they closed the bar and lounge to residents because of a private function. I was told I could order room service, but there was no table in my room and I ate from a tray while sitting on the edge of the bed. Hardly 5 star treatment. With all the space and the staff that the Grand Hotel has, it should have been possible to set up somewhere for residents to have a drink or a light supper. As a minimum, residents should have been notified of the event in advance. It was also impossible to find a comfortable, quiet area to read and have a drink: the lounge is a constant throughway for staff dismantling and setting up other areas for conferences, meetings and other events; the gardens are wasted due to loud music and interviewers on stage just outside the hotel. I have been visiting Rimini for 45 years and the Grand Hotel has always been held in high esteem by locals, particularly those I know in the hotel industry, so this has been a huge disappointment. I stayed one night in May and decided to treat myself to a relaxing few days in September, but it was not to be. Fellini must be turning in his grave. Il Grand Hotel di una volta non c’è più.

Every single detail, dream it was like a dream, I would like to thank everyone for making all the efforts to let us live a dream, Gianluca from the reception was a master at work, thank you for everything! I’ll come back for sure ! Promise to you and myself !

The property is beautiful, charming, authentic, great vibes. The staff. But not to generalize: some were exceptional, helpful and very attentive but some others specially the younger females at the front desk and some of the waiters in the breakfasts room were unhelpful, inattentive, almost rude and made every “task” seem like you were asking for the moon. Also no apologizing for making wrong dressing of the table or dropping something on the floor loudly. Very arrogant, maybe they confused themselves for the clients and were expecting to be served? But also to give Justice, some went steps beyond, were exceptionally thoughtful and professional. Saying this maybe some were in the training process and not ready to be in contacts with the clients. However as guests we are expecting a minimum decent service specially at a beautifully maintained and authentic property as such.

Absolutely stunning hotel with stunning remodeling, big bright, comfy, clean room and amazing bathroom. Right across the street from the beach. Gardens are spectacular. The only problem that was very surprising was that the staff was all very spotty and not helpful at all. Very surprising and unusual for Italy. The hotel is really gorgeous and spectacular and a steal of a price. I still can’t believe how inexpensive it is for what you get. Also, the breakfast buffet was so good. It was just really weird that the staff didn’t tell us about it and we had to find it. Staff seemed very stuck up and not helpful.

Very convenient. Travel and information about the inner city

Beautiful historic building, private beach section. Noise from the nearby party promenade.

It was a great experience. Manager gave me an upgrade to see view room. Watching sun rising from the see was marvelous. Staff, room, hotel itself all was great. All the history related to Federico Fellini is mind blowing. Must stay place if you are in Rimini. Everything is great.

nothing overrated, noisy (as well in the night), expensive (€./day 25 for parking…), rundown structure, staff not really supportive, no hot water in the shower, breakfast poor…
