Hotel Ambassador

So clean, so comfortable and nice breakfast!

A couple of days right before our stay, I've been sent a message from The Ambassador Hotel in which I was informed that I'm going to be placed at another hotel (Hotel Gallia Palace) without asking for a permission from me or having a refund option in case this is inconvenient for me. The other hotel, both the Gallia Palace and Ambassador Hotel reception staff mocked our request to relocate us back at Ambassador Hotel or at least get a refund, because the conditions that I paid for weren't the same as the one we were offered at Gallia Palace. Even though I insisted in talking to the manager, the reception staff lied that they don't have an answer yet so we had no other choice but to stay at the Hotel where they relocated us to, Gallia Palace. It was an old, dirty hotel and lacking facilities. Enjoyed our stayed. Really glad they had parking. They even allowed us to leave it past checkout to go to the beach.

Location was nice I didn’t like that the property didn’t have AC available or the pool, even though the listing said that they were available.

A more modern tv with youtube etc, would've been good. Rooms aren't properly sound isolated, everybody hears what you saying.

The location Some Roma had streaming tv, others not. No mention of this before booking.

On the plus side, the staff were warm and helpful, housekeeping refreshed the room every day, and the breakfast was solid—simple but satisfying. Overall our stay was fine, but the noise was by far the biggest issue. The walls are extremely thin—you can hear almost everything: people using the bathroom, water running in the shower (it sounded like it was in our own room), and even phones vibrating. Our friends were on the same floor across the hallway, and when we called him we could hear his phone ringing; If guests come in late at night, it can be very disruptive. Another mention is related to our AC: it leaked during our entire stay and it splashed right onto the place were we kept our belongings.

Good location, condition of rooms (on the top floor), delicious and rich breakfast; The stuff on the reception was unpleasant and unfriendly. When we prolonged our staying via Booking, they wanted to change us additional cost to keep us at the same room. Since we didn't want to pay extra for an upgraded room and moved to a regular room. We became to treated accordingly. They even refused to bring us a blanket and wanted extra money for it. I never heard a "please" or “welcome” from them.. and we didn’t feel welcomed there.

The parking is 40€ A DAY!!!!! No weekly price and no suggestions of where else to park. Breakfast is the exact same thing EVERY SINGLE DAY. Umbrella and 2 chairs are 26€, better price from the beach.

The location is great and the price was right, since we got a pretty good deal. Also the breakfast is very good compared to what I expected. They have a good coffee machine. Also the room had a full body mirror that my wife really appreciated. Overall the property is outdated. The fridge was totally turned off when we got there so I had to move the whole desk to turn it on myself. The keycard was quite worn, which isn’t a huge deal but the small things matter. But the biggest flaw of all is that the TV isn’t a Smart TV. So I can’t cast Netflix or any streaming service from my phone. All I can watch are the basic cable channels. Also the staff clearly isn’t excited to be working there. That isn’t their fault though, it’s the managements fault that the staff doesn’t want to be there. No one was rude to us, but the staff is not welcoming. Dear management: please be nicer to your staff.

Breakfast Definately not a 4 star hotel. The parking was a joke for $40. The staff were not friendly at all. Pool had bugs after 4 pm. You would think they had someone to skim the pool

Good Location and close to the beach. It’s clean, friendly staff. Everything is close by. Restaurant and the beach is also just across the hotel.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful! The breakfast was AMAZING. Rooms very clean and modern with comfortable beds. Very nice and convenient that a parking spot was included with our room.

Wonderful breakfast like 5* Bus no 11 to center also Metro Bus no 10 to fiera
