- The room was big, with a good table and great view. - The area is suitable if you do not want to swim. - The view from the roof is great - a lot of nature. - The area is quiet, but a lot of restaurants are very near - around the Gloria metro station. - I was overcharged. I did discuss with the receptionist the amount in Reals which I was supposed to pay, but surprisingly they charged me in Euros with an additional charge of 14%. I would not accept being charged in Euros if they would give me a choice. - The sauna was closed for maintenance, but I did not see anybody working in that area. - The swimming pool is very small in a bad location, next to a wall. - This area is unsuitable if you want to swim. The sea is polluted.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location worked well during Carnival. My room overlooked the park across the street, so I could easily see the blocos and festival activity happening each day. The Glória metro station is also very close, which made it easy to move around the city. The hotel itself feels quite dated and the bed was extremely firm, which made it uncomfortable for me. Because many breakfast items included pork, my options were limited. The safe in the room was also very small and could not fit my laptop.

The location is good close to San Teresa and the Centro. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was nice and the breakfast is good. The cleaning staff was a bit noisy. The room did not have any view.

The staff was very nice and helpful. They kept my bag before check-in, no charges.Bed linnens clean.Good breakfast. The hotel is old, needs maintnance. Lots of noise, on construction, banging early in the morning. Not going back there.

The staff especially at Front Desk and Concierge. Everything else was fine. Nice view of the park and sunshine on the morning. Inconsistent housekeeping but I didn't really need it. Not enough sports tv channels.
