Beautiful hotel in Leblon with a great mountain view room. The design and aesthetic are impressive and the convenient gym membership at Body Tech for guests was a nice touch. Friendly service at the rooftop. Good base for a Rio trip if you want to be in a slightly quieter neighborhood than Ipanema.

This is one of my two favorite hotels ever. It was perfect. Everything, the people of course. And also the sense of design and taste. I loved it. Nothing.

Service at restaurant and rooftop bar was not up to par. Quality of food was not 5 star and they mistakenly served me salad topped with nuts when I had already informed them I was allergic to nuts. Before ordering I had checked and they had confirmed that the salad ingredients contained no nuts. This is after serving me a first salad that was drowning in so much salt it was inedible. On wine, they only had a Chardonnay no other white wine.

Exceptional

We loved the location, decors, cleanliness, bathroom. Great front of house, security and housekeeping staff. Fabulous views. Across the street from a lovely beach and close to lots of restaurants and the Leblon shopping. The FB staff are lovely but poorly trained in customer service. Most of them try really hard but if you order food it takes ages to come. At breakfast, I asked for a caffe latte three times and, though the waitress smiled and nodded, it still didn’t come. I don’t think it was deliberate, just a language barrier. Staff in the rooftop are all stand around in a huddle near the bar. Unless you go in from the pool to fetch them, you don’t get served, and when you do it is very slow. There was only one exception. That part was very disappointing. I didn’t raise it because I felt it was endemic and not easily resolved.

The location was great. Staff were super friendly and were always willing to help. What was great is that you could book things to do at reception pretty easily. Breakfast was great - a lot of options for all diets and taster great. Dinner - I think sometimes less is more. The dinner options were quite fancy but we were looking for something a little more simple as it was heavy raining outside!

Great location, the suite is very nice and spacious. friendly staff I would be very cautious now with their concierge services as I paid tickets for the carnaval parade double their market price. Rookie mistake but it will not happen again.

Excellent breakfast in all aspects. Very good personnel.
