Sam the host was such a helpful person .As someone coming from a completely different country and culture, he made me feel welcome from the very first day. He was always kind, patient, and happy to help with anything I needed, from local recommendations to answering my questions. The hostel has a friendly atmosphere, the rooms and common areas are kept clean, and the location is excellent—just a short walk from Copacabana Beach, the metro, supermarkets, and restaurants. It was easy to meet other travelers, and I truly felt at home during my stay. Thank you for making my time in Rio so memorable! Nothing Significant

Perfectly relaxed place. Bed was comfortable, room was good. Nice staff. Perfect location!

The location is great, about 4 to 5 blocks from the main beach, which makes it very convenient. The room is small and could use a bit of maintenance, but it has a large private bathroom and air conditioning, which is a plus. The staff was nice, though not very social, and the atmosphere was quiet.

Good location and easy access to facilitate travel jorney Unfortunately, I can't sleep. I notice they allowed checkin or entrance guests to the room at late nite, every time after 11pm, midnite, 2 am new guests arrive at shared room and start doing the bed very noise, open the lockers late nite disturbing the others guests at bed. It is very bad rulles allowed people arrrive at hostel at middle late nite and wake up people who deserve have regular sleeping.

The rooms are really uncomfortable

Good wifi, friendly staff, great location. The top floor lounge has one single electrical outlet. That is a problem. Also - most of the electrical outlets are wornout or loose so that when electric cords an plugged in to them, they don't always make an actual electric connection

The location is very good close to restaurants super markets shopping....close to the beach I like a lot has a kitchen to cook 24 hours

Staff are so polite so helpful and close to everything highly recommended

Good location, kind staff and safe staying. I would recomend the hostel offer a colective kitchen for guests.

Everything about the hostel is worse than a prison cell. The moment I entered the room, I felt sick. It was nothing like the photos published on Booking.com. The staff handed me a plastic bag with a bedsheet and pillowcase and asked me to change the bedding myself. The room was smelly and unbearably hot. When I spoke to the owner, he told me that every hostel in Rio only turns on the AC from 10 p.m. to 10 a.m.—which doesn’t make sense, since the daytime is hotter than the night. I felt like vomiting because of the room’s condition and immediately canceled my reservation. I requested a refund, explaining that their online details are misleading. However, I have received no response from the owner, and Booking.com has not taken any action either. I understand it is a hostel, but it should at least be decent enough for guests to stay in. Staff was very nice, at checking we got upgraded to an apartment they own nearby which was great to have, more privacy and space, The location is a great walking distance from everything including the Beach. we asked about Wifi password and the man in charge even give us his personal number in case we needed. l would stay again. The Toilet was loose and the bathroom floor was wet from the leak.

Plus: Centrally located with everything you need nearby. Only 8 min walk to Copacabana. Kind and friendly staff. Minus: The beds are HORRID because of plastic cover on the mattress that sticks to your body from the body heat. Thus resting / sleeping is uncomfortable. No hand soap in any of the toilets whatsoever(not good for hygiene). The kitchen needs an upgrade.

The hostel is good for the cheap price. I had a private room and it was ok, kitchen is clean and well furnished, location is good, close to many supermarkets in Copacabana, good wifi, I could work during my days there. Just be aware that The room just had a van and not AC, for me it’s ok as I don’t mind but for someone suffering the heat may not be the best

Excellent hostel. Close to the beach. The staff are very nice. There is a good kitchen. There is no storage for bags. The rooms are quite small. The top floor has a dinning and work area but it could really use air conditioning as it is very hot

Good

Nothing The place was extremely dirty, and when I pointed it out, the owner yelled at me. Their behavior was incredibly rude and unprofessional—completely unacceptable.

My second time here in two weeks, I came back because I was feeling great last time. The personnel were nice and helpful. I was in 5 hostels during my stay in Rio and this one was the best. I'm easy going, I don't need the luxury, I need nice people around, nice place and good energy. All of it you can find here.

Location was great! Only a few streets back from the beach. It was on a well lit street so I felt safe. The staff were amazing and very friendly - especially Vinicius, he always made sure we were safe and had everything we needed - such a lovely person! I wouldn’t say it was a social hostel

The location is very good, it's easy to get anywhere. The personnel were wery nice and always helpful. The best was, to meet other people in the dining room or terrace. We could share experiences, warnings, make new friendships, go out together, it was great. I should be there for 2 nights, but I stayed one week. And I will come back.
