I like the location because it’s perfectly in between the beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana, and it’s very close walking distance. The room, bed, and bathroom were quite comfortable and clean, and there was also a small fridge!!! The hosts are friendly, and it has a self check-in feature, so that part was easy too.

The water doesn’t get really hot, and it can be annoying/ slippery going up the metal stairs after it rains

Being up stairs that are outside when it’s raining does make it a little difficult to get up and into the room especially with big bags.

The property was located between Copacabana and Ipanema. You could walk to both beaches and it felt very safe. Breakfast was provided and there was the option to have your room cleaned during your stay. It was excellent value.

It is really clean, well located and really secured. The place is beautiful too. I think the host/staff could be a bit more welcoming. We sensed that we bother them a bit while in the common areas. Brazilians are usually really lovely and I’d say it would be nicer with a bit more of a welcoming vibe

Location was great. I loved the communal area, which had tea available and facilities to cook. Nice terrace to sit. I felt that we could have had larger sheets for the bed.

Great host. Close to the beach, restaurants, shops. Comfortable and clean room with all facilities. Good breakfast. The stairs are open to the sky. So if it rains your bags can get wet.

Location was brill, close to two of the most beautiful beaches, hosts were great, rooms were simple, but very clean, but breakfast was strange, as there was little choice and I felt like I shouldn’t take much food, as I have to leave some for others. Price and breakfast

Great location in between Ipanema and Copacabana beach. Both on short walking distance and nice restaurants in the neighborhood. Breakfast was allright, but lacked a bit of variety. The room was very small and basic. It really needs attention! A handy(wo)man and some good cleaning. Bathroom is moldy and there are things hanging loose (showerhead, tv and a wallsocket). Also loose screw in the 2nd step of the stairs up: fix this, it’s dangerous! Furthermore no interaction with the host except for getting the key. No response for 24h when we asked for a second toiletpaperrol (staying 3 nights).

Simple rooms with basic furniture, the bed was very comfortable and it was quiet during the night. Great location in walking distance to Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, very safe also at night! Nothing to mention, be ready to walk a couple of tight staircases to get to the rooms.
