This is a 'no-frills' B&B but our room was large, clean and functional, with a little balcony and views over the rooftops to Etna. Riposto is a bit quirky, fairly quiet and a little tired in places but we were there to travel the CircumEtnea Railway and this B&B is handy for both the mainline station between Catania and Taormina and the little old circumetnea station. Its also a few minutes walk from the main square of Riposto. The staff were really friendly and allowed us to leave the luggage the next day while we travelled the railway to Randazzo and back. The B&B was very quiet during our stay but a really nice extensive breakfast was provided. Nothing, all good for the price.

Outdoor [if you want it, under cover if you don't] roof terrace for breakfast, choice of "proper" and busy Pizza places within walking distance, one was queuing out the door... Understandable in a small B&B, Reception isn't manned 24/7 so that being on the ground floor and breakfast on the top floor caused minor issues in checking out...

The owner is very nice and charming. And the room was very clean. The fridge didn't work well.

Kind staff, clean. Poor breakfast, you only get one card for the electricity, so you cannot run AC when you are not in the room - the temperature in room was high.

Location, staff, breakfast was exceptional. The room itself was also aesthetically pleasing.

Friendly staff, clean and spacious room. Balcony with a mountain view. Close to the railway station, where you can get a regional train to the nearby towns (around 20-30 minutes ride to Taormina or Catania) Quite far from the beach. Consider having a car or a bike to reach it.

Only sweet breakfast was available but considering the Italian culture and Covid restrictions it is understandable. The lady who welcomed us was extremely friendly and even waited for us after the check-in hours when our train was late. I definitely recommend this place and the whole city of Giarre-Riposto, especially comparing to dirty and smelly Catania. Public beaches are pretty nice. Everything was fine.
