Location excellent and staff excellent. Very impressive historic building in exceptional Medieval town.

Loved the charm, history and quirkiness of this very old hotel and building. The man who checked us in and gave us instructions on where to park was very nice. The location was perfect in the center of the old town. It was great to have parking space included. We paid for breakfast which was about 10 euros. It was basic-coffee, yogurt, juice, bread, cheese, but the dining room was so cool. The building dated back to the 1400's. Loved that they provided washcloths, which is sometimes hard to come by in Europe

Great location on main street. Private car park facilities on parallel street. Lovely old style building with old style rooms (clean and comfortable). Nothing of importance. Only point to consider is there is no lift in the property and if you have a room at the top of the property there are many flights of tight and winding stairs....a bit of an effort with big and/or heavy luggage etc...

Great location, large family suite, great value for money, very clean. Very old and quirky building. Not really a hotel, as it does not have a reception or a restaurant. Need to be there before 6.00pm to get the key. There is a breakfast room, which serves only cold food (cheese, salami, ham, yogurt, bread and jam - no eggs or any other cooked food).

The location. That their restaurant was closed exactly the night we were there.

We did like the place, the stuff, breakfast, room. Nice place. Don't try to speak to the French before 9 a.m.?. After that time everything was perfect. Very weak hot water pressure in the bathroom.

This special hotel will always be one of my favorite memories from our trip. It is one of the oldest and most historical places I have stayed at. Our host Thibault treated us with so much care and kindness, we will go back again. Especially as his information about everything, that we asked, was very entertaining. It is a hotel that has been in the family for many generations and is currently run by Thibault’s Grandmother, Mireille and her sister. Doudou was extremely helpful and a pleasure to meet also. This place has so much unique ambiance and it is right in the center of Riquewihr. Be sure to have their excellent breakfast in the centuries old wine cave. An experience you can never forget!

Location and parking were perfect.

The location in the middle of this beautiful town was fantastic, and having my own parking space very close by made it possible to visit. Not being a French speaker, I was pleased that I was able to communicate with the very friendly and helpful staff in English and in German. It's unfair to say I didn't like this, as I was well aware before I booked that the room would be a few flights up, but between my lousy sense of direction and my dodgy knee, finding my way up to the room and down to the outside world was more complicated than expected. :-) (Seriously, they did a fantastic job turning an ancient building into a modern hotel, and having to negotiate several staircases to get to our room was NOT a real problem!!!!)

Very helpful and friendly staff (thank you Thibault and your other male colleague who we didn't catch the name of). Lovely old building. Fantastic location. Great restaurant (dogs allowed!). Free parking space available close by. Very good with dogs. Great! Nothing really. Just worth noting that if you have restricted mobility the stairs are very steep.

Although this is by no means a 4 or 5 star property we loved the charm, history and welcoming nature of this hotel. Location was excellent and has a gorgeous restaurant attached. Tea and coffee making facilities would have been nice and an inexpensive add on to the rooms to make for a more comfortable stay.
