The Location is close to the train station with some good restaurants within a short walk and the staff friendly. The room was modern and the bed comfortable. The airconditioning was set to 24 degrees C, and couldn't be adjusted lower - this was too hot to sleep comfortably in. The shower and sink were not draining properly and flooded the floor outside the shower. This could have been just this room. The floor under the counter where the bin was kept in the bedroom was not vacuumed properly around the bin with crumbs still there from previous occupant. A little noisy outside all night compared to another hotel we stayed in nearby.

Room was clean and practically brand new. Everything worked fine and the bed was very comfortable. Staff at the desk was super helpful and kind. You can leave your luggage if you’re early and after you check out which was a life saver. We had no issues with anything.

We absolutely loved the view first and foremost. The location was perfect - I love that in photos of Riomaggiore I can see our little window! The bed was comfy and large and the cleaning service was amazing - restocked our coffee every morning! When someone in the building uses the washing machine its pretty noisy coming from the vent above the amoire. It didnt last longer than 20ish min so no biggie!

During my stay, a high-value item went missing from my room. I have clear evidence that I was still wearing the item on April 10. During the following days, after the room was serviced, the item could no longer be found and was not in my luggage after departure. Despite providing a clear timeline and multiple follow-ups, the hotel was unable to locate the item and ultimately refused to take responsibility or offer any form of resolution. In addition to this, the overall housekeeping service was inconsistent. Towels were replaced even when not left on the floor, while on another day the bathroom was not cleaned and towels were not replaced at all. Daily cleaning appeared minimal, often limited to just making the bed, and the floor was not properly cleaned. Housekeeping staff also entered the room wearing outdoor shoes. What is particularly concerning is that the hotel suggested guests should keep a close eye on their belongings, even in a serviced room environment. This raises serious concerns about the level of security and accountability provided. Overall, this experience was very disappointing, especially given the lack of resolution for a significant loss.

The location is excellent and the staff are really nice and helpful. There were many issues with our room. The AC wasn’t working, the shower was backing up, we couldn’t turn on the smaller shower head, and the toilet paper stand was not properly screwed in, so the paper kept falling on the floor. We also opened our window and then it wouldn’t close, so we ended up having to change rooms in the middle of the night. Our new room was in a better state, but the shower was also backing up, so someone came in the next day to fix it.

The property is still undergoing renovations. For the most part it looks okay however the bathroom had a very bad smell that made it difficult to sleep and stay in the room
