Incredible hotel. Highly recommend. Our entire stay felt personalised, the staff was warm, friendly and always eager to help. The rooms were immaculately cleaned and uniquely styled. The breakfast buffet and wellness area were additional highlight. Would not hesitate to return.

Having stayed in some lovely luxury properties all around the world, The Goethe did not disappoint. The staff were exceedingly courteous and helpful in accommodating our request for early check in. We unexpectedly needed to stay onsite for dinner the first night and the meal exceeded our expectations and was likely just as good as where we would've gone had we not canceled our reservation. The breakfast box was delicious and filling, which helped us get a jumpstart on our very long travel day back to Los Angeles. Bonus for the in room dry sauna which we definitely would've used had their not been a record breaking heat dome impacting nearly all of western Europe. We celebrated an engagement here this trip and wouldn't hesitate to book again as a sweet, nostalgic honeymoon experience.

Very comfortable bed. Fresh room and perfectly cleaned. In room amenities are very good and WC works good. The location is 10/10. Sauna in the room is a good addition if you get it hot enough. Breakfast could use a massive improvement in presentation and optionality for 5 star. I don’t understand not replenishing water in the room daily for almost $900 a night. How is it possible to make coffee without bottled water. Also water is a basic necessity and even basic bottled water for $3 a night would be acceptable. You have to order room service which defeats the convenience of expecting refreshment when one comes home from a day of exploring and just ruins the whole hospitality experience. Now Im measuring a pretty good room experience against availability of water to drink.
