They clean the rooms every day and staff is really nice.

The breakfast is in a bar, not in the structure as it seems from pictures. My wife asked for an orange juice instead of coffee and that was not included.

Great communication with the staff — very friendly and easy check-in. Breakfast was served at a nearby restaurant: coffee of your choice and a cornetto (plenty of options!). Great experience. The apartment was clean, with a balcony where you can sit and enjoy your coffee. In the corridor, there’s access to a kettle, cutlery, cups, mugs, snacks, tea, coffee, etc. We were also able to store our luggage after check-out for as long as we wanted. Thank you! I would recommend this place.

We loved breakfast at the Pasticeria Siciliana. The staff were friendly, the pastries delicious. It was fun to start the day there. Loved the elevator, we always closed Both doors. The mattress could have been firmer but it was fine.

Location was great - very close to the metro. It was an Italian neighborhood- not too touristy and we felt very safe. The complimentary breakfast cards to LaSiciliana Cafe were awesome. There was also another awesome small cafe just around the corner. The apartment was very secure. Our fridge temperature was hard to regulate. The common kitchen facilities were minimal.

Owner was easy to deal with Answered our queries before arriving. He wasn't available to check us in but sent through link for us to self check in via a phone call which worked OK. It states 'breakfast included' which is a coffee and croissant from a local pastry shop...best croissant you will have!!! Location was a 15min to 20min walk to Vatican city (we timed it :-) Otherwise we trained it to different places from local metro which was only 7min walk from accommodation. There was a communal area where we could sit and use the area to eat just outside of our room Very reasonably priced accommodation if you don't mind being in the 'suburbs'.

breakfast and kitchen area was simple and pleasant to use, staff friendly, beds very comfortable, lovely balcony out front, great location with families and a safe feeling, walking distance to vatican, parks, food, etc. We had a great time in Rome and loved our room. If I have to think of something, I would have liked conditioner and lotion. There was hand soap and I think shampoo (I brought my own, so I don't remember exactly). I noticed a lot of places don't automatically have lotion, shampoo, and conditioner, but it would elevate the experience in my opinion. Everything was fine, though.

My family stayed at B&B La Perla di Roma over four nights in the summer of 2025. The host contacted me before our stay to make sure that I had all of the information necessary for a contactless login, so when we arrived close to midnight we were easily and quickly able to get into our room. The next morning the host came to the property to collect the city tax and verify our ids. The property was a short walk to one of the Metro (subway) stops, so it was very straightforward to get out to our destinations for the day and return home at night. The included breakfast was a cappuccino and croissant at a nearby coffee shop, and there were cards in the room that we could use to pay for our breakfast at the coffee shop. The property was a bit older, but they had done a nice job in making it welcoming and pleasant. Parking was a bit difficult, as only street parking was available and it took some time to find a spot that was available. (Be sure to download and use the EasyPark app, as that made paying for parking in Rome really easy!)

Incredibly close to the metro station (less than a five minute walk) making trips around the city a breeze. Property owner and staff were kind and helpful, allowed us to coordinate a late check in when our flight arrived late and provided complimentary snacks and mini Prosecco bottles during the stay. The breakfast tickets were a great value, and allowed us to eat every morning at an amazing cafe just down the road. Couldn’t recommend any more highly! The air conditioning did not run continuously through the night, we had to push the “powerful” button on the remote control to make the air run, however the room cooled down fairly quickly so it was not a major issue.

Great location and value. We were gone most of the days, sight seeing and this was a perfect location for the Vatican, Metro and other transportation options to Rome's attractions.

It was in an ideal location, very close to the Cipro metro station, so we could easily reach all the attractions. The Vatican is a pleasant 20-minute walk away. The Italian-style breakfast (coffee + croissant), which can be enjoyed in a nearby bar, was very delicious. It was a nice way to start the day! :) The hot shower was also nice after a lot of walking. There is also a balcony, but since it was January, we couldn't really use it. The air conditioning heats up the room in seconds. The cleaning lady was very nice, we had a great chat with her every day. We were able to see several less famous Roman attractions (such as the water cave under the Trevi Fountain, the Pyramid) on her recommendation. We were able to occupy the accommodation as early as 11 am, which was a huge help, and on the last day we were allowed to leave our luggage there until 6 pm, so we didn't have to carry it all over the city. Nothing, really :)

We liked the location as we could walk to the metro station and restaurants and cafes and they are close by other places to go. They provide you with vouchers every day for a cafe close by that has great coffee and croissants free from the property. They had cocktails at night and other food all day, too in that same restaurant. The beds were comfortable, and the staff was great. They provide you with a map and directions and the manager is wonderful and the woman is great that meets you the next day. They have a lift and a kitchen area in the hall if you want to eat in and bring food in and give you some snacks too. The walls are a bit thin, and we could hear the neighbors' tv and children talking in the morning and sometimes in the evening, but we were in downtown Rome, and that can be normal and it is also a big city with lots of traffic but we liked the location very much as we didn't need a car.

The check-in instruction is very clear. The room has a thoughtful touch. Communication with the host was very easy. The breakfast provided by the cafe in the neighbourhood was yummy. I told the host that I can hear laundry sound early in the morning. The host then spoke to the cleaner and told them to do it at a later time. I appreciate their response to the feedback.
