It’s an incredible hotel. Excellent location, great rooms.

The last room we had was warm.
-
room was dirty , there is even cut nails one the carpet , not as picture , old bathrooms , dirty…. For that amount of money I’m pretty’s sure we would have better experience

The taxi called from your hotel to FCO attempted to charge €65 instead of the official €55 fixed fare from inside the Aurelian Walls. The driver also claimed there was an additional fee for paying by card, even though card-payment surcharges are not allowed. I understand this may not be the hotel’s fault, but I wanted to report it so future guests are protected.

The location is excellent Cleanliness. The property is very old and beaten down from inside especially and from outside. The facilities are not worth much close to none existence. Not enough staff. Given the excellent location it is very much worth while to make extensive investment in upgrading the facilities and all the hotel and should be a straight forward business case.

Great location Extremely outdated, feels empty and eerie. Charge 10 euro for a bottle of water.

The room was very old and out of date. The pictures advertised are completely different from what they provided.

The location is great and extremely convenient to anyone, who wants to be close to the main shopping streets and piazzas of this magnificent city. The hotel is grand with that old chic and beautiful architecture. The room was relatively spacious (versus the usual size of the Roman hotels) and the breakfast.food selection was more diverse than I usually find in Italy My room had a door to the next room , and the door didn't have good sound proofing. So each and every word from the neighbors was heard in my room. Another thing I don't like - absence of the facila tissues (Kleenex) in the room of this standard. As someone allergic, I always find absence of this simple necessity to be a big minus. The hotel itself is beautiful, but ,perhaps, needs some update and restoration. Another thing: there is no 24 hour room service, but I believe it's a common problem of European hotels these days.

The hotel is in the best location close to all historical attractions and main shopping areas. The room condition and overall service did not meet expectations. The hotel may be rated as a 5-star property; however, our experience did not meet those expectations. While the room was an adequate size, it was furnished with a rusty bed frame, and the bathroom was in poor condition. Worst of all, our room was not serviced, and when we asked why, we were simply told that the staff were very busy. We were also disappointed that we were unable to visit the beautiful grand rooms because they were closed for a special event and later for a wedding.Overall, in its current condition and level of service, this hotel does not deserve a 5-star rating.

Location The bathtub was not very practical, and a walk-in shower would have been far more accessible and convenient while also reducing water spillage and mess. Additionally, the walls appear to have limited sound insulation, as voices and noise from neighboring rooms could be clearly heard through them.
