Katia was amazing and so kind and helpful!! Location is great, especially if coming from FCO with one day in Rome and then going to Civitavecchia for cruise.
-
The location is steps from both train and bus and breakfast free and delicious! Katia is amazing. Such a help! Room very clean too! The bed is a little hard, but that is a personal preference.

Got breakfast voucher for local coffee shops. Liked that the room was cleaned daily and the wifi was fast. The view was spectacular towards the garden.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The host was so gracious and even gave us a ride to a restaurant on the night of our arrival so that we could make our reservation. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoying trying different local pastries. The location was very close to Trastevere station. From there we could take a bus or train, however, the buses were extremely crowded and neither were always convenient. We found that we had to walk quite a bit to get to sites and restaurants, which was fine for us. The public transportation in Rome isn't always great so sometimes we opted for a taxi instead. This could be a consideration for the location.

You may hear some noices from other rooms, which could be an issue for light sleepers.

Katia is the owner of this property, and it was like being a guest in her own home. She made me feel very welcome and was so willing to make sure I not only had what I needed in my room, but also that I had what I needed to explore Rome. The property is located across the street from the Trastevere train station which made it very convenient to access all parts of Rome at a very affordable price. The neighborhood is away from the hordes of tourists and gives an authentic Roman experience. I will stay at Luna Rossa again the next time I’m in Rome. Oh, and the breakfast is at the pastry shop across the street- the best pastries I tried while in Rome!

Traditional Italian breakfast, some form of coffee and a choice of croissants. Room with a view, but that would not be possible in the neighborhood.
-
The place was clean. It had an elevator to second floor which was very much needed with traveling suitcases . Katia was easily reachable, responding quickly when needed . She also helped us navigate to different eateries n sights .

Location was good near Trastevere train station. Close to restaurants and public transport to city center. Breakfasts you would like if you have a sweet tooth. But its not something i'm used to eat in the morning :)

Katia is the most responsive, ultra fast host welcoming us personally. The amount of information given about entering details, connections and nearby restaurant recommendations and analysis is the most extensive. The room was very clean, the house is old but has everything we needed for a busy Roma visit. Only a little of traffic sound from the alley and the street. Very important is the good train connection to Fiumincino airport and 5 min walk to the guesthouse. Nop!

This property is located in Trestavere, a section of rome that is about 2K from the center of the action. But, because of the distance, you get better value. Restaurants are less expensive, coffee and breakfast are very reasonable, etc. You're about a 2 minute walk from the train station, which has direct trains to the airport, and is also a hub for trams and buses. Katia, the host was amazing. Very gracious, warm, and very organized. For almost any question that I posed about Rome, she provided a very detailed answer which allowed me to navigate the buses, and trams with very little difficulty. When I stay in Rome again, I will absolutely stay in this property. It is very rare indeed, but I found nothing to dislike with this property.

Katia is a wonderful thoughtful host who gave me any information I needed to enjoy my first trip to Rome The room is nothing fancy but is clean and has everything you would need including aircon and ensuite shower Breakfast (included) at the deli across the road was lush Nice terrace overlooking the green garden Train station so nearby A small bar of soap in the shower would have been useful

Everything was perfect, special thanks to our host Katia. Location is close to public transport.
-
Fabulous host ! We arrived one day early by mistake, and she went out of her way to help us and find a place nearby where we could stay for the night. We will always remember this with gratitude! A plus: direct and easy rail connection to Fiumicino.
-
The host, Katia was friendly and helpful with advice on how to get there and how to get around town, restaurant recommendations etc. It didn’t bother us but there is some street noise.
-
Katia was extremely helpful during our stay in Rome, she showed us all the great restaraunts, which bus lines to take, and other information that really helped us get around Rome.
-
The room was clean and had everything needed for a solo/duo trip. Very appreciated the microwave and the sink. The room has even a balcony that gives on a lovely inside garden. The house is very close to the station Trastevere and the breakfast maritozzo at Maritozzaro is amazing. The host is very kind, she helped a lot with directions on the best way to get there. The room is a bit small, not much space to move in and you can hear noises from the other rooms.
-
Excellent accomodation very close to Trastevere station and also bus routes, the river, Sunday markets. Katia the proprietor was an wonderful hostess.
