The Imperial Hotel

Beautiful view, great side of the island to have as a base. Very nice full breakfast included. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff. Wonderful sunsets.

As always we had a comfortable stay with friendly, helpful staff. Always welcoming and make working away from home more enjoyable.

Always have a great comfortable friendly stay It was a little cold in my bedroom as its end of the summer.

Nothing was as expected

The location next to the beach was perfect. The room was large and comfortable and the sea view was magnificent. Very attentive staff with decent breakfast and dinner menus. Good to have dedicated hotel parking. Nothing

Everything was good. The only thing was that my son left his apple ear pods in his room. When my cousin went to the hotel the next day to ask if they had found them. They said they weren’t there. You can not get through to the hotel by telephone. They were definitely left in his room

Lovely hotel, really good staff and reception staff very professional and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and so much choice and beautifully cooked, so much so we booked 2 evening meals and the mussels were delicious. Great bar area.

Location was beautiful with great transport links to main town and airport. Very comfortable beds, staff very attentive, food spectacular. Bar was an added bonus. One bar for hotel which was quieter and one that was open to the public which was lively but. It so much as to be a nuisance. There was nothing I didn’t like

Fabulous view of the bay from our bedroom, big clean comfortable bed, modern bathroom, food excellent, staff flexible and helpful. There are steps down to the sandy beach - we could have swum, instead we walked and explored the rock pools. There are great country walks nearby too. We needed a non-slip shower mat (which I believe might have been available if we had asked). The shower was dangerous - so slippery, no grab bars. A simple thing to fix. I mentioned it to them when I was checking out so maybe they have rectified already.

The property is in a beautiful and calm side of the island, just by the coast. We had a room with sea side view, waking up to the sound of the sea waves and the amazing view. Very good food in a restaurant at the hotel, friendly staff, really enjoyed also the relaxing lounge area and fun public pub on the outside side of the hotel.

The Imperial hotel is ideally located for public transportation to and from the airport. The staff team are extremely welcoming and the standard of accomadation us excellent with beautiful Views of the beach. Terrific breakfast and an excellent on site restaurant.

Our room and food was excellent Our friends had trouble with their bathroom facilities. The shower and bath were poor. Problems on Saturday evening when staff closed the lounge! We tried to discuss this with the bar staff but they refused to open it. We had just finished dinner and wanted to sit and chat before retiring for the night. The only choice on offer was to go the public bar. This was extremely busy and very noisy so we stayed a few minutes and left. The lounge should have been available!
