This is my first negative review. I'm very easy to please and quite forgiving. This is NOT a hotel to stay in when you're visiting Saint Clair Shores. This is a hotel that people live in. There is nothing wrong with that; I once had to live in a hotel. But the wear and tear from long-term stays is very different from frequent short stays. Think twice before staying here. The lobby is dirty. Employees were fine. The elevator is dirty, loud, and slow. All the floors, from the front door to the room, were scuffed. The entire property smells. When we walked in, it smelled like Burger King. Once that faded, the halls and room smelled like unwashed human beings. The room carpet was ridiculously dirty, with reddish spots and dark patches everywhere. Whatever was red on the floor apparently squirted onto the ceiling, which had matching stains. The refrigerator looked ten years old and hadn't been deep cleaned in a while. The stovetop burner also looked poorly maintained. All 3 pillows were stacked on the made bed without pillow cases, and the room door was propped open when we arrived. Did I complain? No. I'm pretty easygoing, but I'm writing this review because there aren't any decent hotels in Saint Clair Shores, and I want to warn others. Find a nice hotel in Detroit. You will find MUCH better ten miles away.

The room was disgusting and the smell of the hotel was not pleased.

My stove wasn't repaired until 1 day before my stay was finished. The clerks at the counter are never at the counter they don't open the counter until late in the morning around 10 AM. Also your maintenance man never got the entry lock fixed for the back door. Smelt Marijuana all the time in the building

Very poor

I walked in to my room and there were a dirty pair of underwear. No apologies were made, and my request for a new room seemed like an inconvenience. My 4th night there, there were multiple vehicle break ins, cops were there, all night. Needless to say I felt unsafe, and ended up leaving to find a different hotel. Staff did not refund, nor seem apologetic. I reached out to see if I could get a refund for the last 2 nights I had booked, and have still not gotten a response. Absolutely would not recommend, nor will I return.

In operable elevator. Staff knocked on the door every morning (early!), surprised that I hadn’t checked out already(I was there for 5 days!). Smell of pot smoke was constant.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting! Was given a room that wasn't even cleaned and walked into a room at close to midnight after a dull day of travel to a stains on the mattress and dirty towels all over the room. Was given a new room that was "cleaned" and it was still in very poor condition. Fan vents were absolutely filthy. After seeing the dirty bedding in the other room, didn't give me much hope for this bed. Literally slept for 4 hours and left as soon as I could.

It was clean That not one time did they come to see if you needed towels or toilet paper my husband and I paid for 3 weeks and only had 2 towels and 2 wash clothes during the whole 3 weeks that we went and bought our own towels and our own toilet paper for the price we paid for 3 weeks for the staff to never once come knock on door and ask if we would like fresh towels or our bed changed so that to me was percent poor hospitality.

Super nice staff, don’t get me wrong…but…we will not be staying there again. Ever.

Ms Denise Denise was very accommodating and a very had worker. I give her 10 stars . But the rest of the staff members were not very helpful or accommodating. Ms Denise was pleasant even under pressure. Unable to get clean towels or linen , towel or sheets. Not very clear how you get in touch with staff after hours. Rooms cloud have been cleaner . Towels and linen could have been cleaned better still had spots on them.

I booked and paid for a room at 11pm at night, due to my A/C had broken down. I decided to get a hotel room with A/C. Booked and paid for the room on Hotels.com, and drove to the hotel, which was about 5 miles away. When I got there, the front desk attendant informed me they had no rooms available. HOW THE HELL CAN THAT HAPPEN HOTELS.COM????? This is one website service I will NEVER use again.
