Lone Hotel by Maistra Collection

The hotel is truly a unique experience! It’s incredibly comfortable and spacious. Even though it was almost at full capacity, you hardly notice because the property is so large and surrounded by beautiful greenery. The staff is amazing, but I would especially like to mention the kindness of Chiara, Tanja, and Selma. They made our stay even more enjoyable.. The only reason I gave the hotel a 9 instead of a 10 is the organization of the sunbeds at the beach and the lack of hospitality from some of the beach staff (with the exception of the beach manager). I hope this can be improved because it’s really a pity for such a wonderful hotel to have its excellent reputation affected by this issue.

The grounds are beautifully maintained. The pool area is spacious and clean. The hotel staff is friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend the Lone Hotel. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable!

Everything was perfect

Everything was great! The grounds were absolutely beautiful. We worked out at the gym and got scrubbed in the Spa. The breakfast buffet was over the top!

The grounds are spectacular with trees and beachfront a few steps away. Proximity to the old town center.

Returning guests here, this time with a 10mo. Absolutely love the location between a huge park and Rovinj just a short walk away, and the staff is v kind and accommodating (particularly at the spa/wellness area). This time we tried out the playroom with our little one and the girls there were so nice. Breakfast is top notch as usual, and so is room service. We are coming back next year for sure!

Amazing hotel among green nature nearby the wonderful park Zlatni rt. Breakfast was delicious. Perfect choice for a quiet short break. /

The lighting in spa area is not up to standard. Some of the light in saunas are too bright and uncomfortable.

Hotel Lone je zaista posebno iskustvo. Oduševila nas je arhitektura i dizajn – moderan, ali topao, s puno svjetla i predivnim pogledom na more i šumu Zlatnog rta. Soba je bila prostrana, vrlo čista i iznimno udobna. Spa zona i bazeni su fantastični za opuštanje, a doručak je raznovrstan i kvalitetan. Osoblje je profesionalno, ljubazno i diskretno, što je dodatno doprinijelo osjećaju ugode. Boravak je bio vrlo ugodan i teško je pronaći veće zamjerke.

Everything is excellent

I would spend all my summer vacations here, if I could afford them. Since it was off season, all gueats were located by the pool and spa, which made it crowdy. Also, some of the guests in the spa and saunas took more liberty than appropriated, for my taste. It does say that spa is for 16+, but it does not say 18+. And the hotel could work on a better timing for the water jets in the spa. 1 minute of action, then 5-10 minutes of pause.

Lone has a very unique modern design, to the very standards of a 5 star hotel. I would definitely rank it in the top three luxury hotels in Croatia. The breakfast selection was impressive and the quality of the food rose up to my expectations. The room was one of the most spacious ones I've stayed in. The rest of the features were great, very imaginative. I've never seen a relaxation zone like the one Lone has. I would only suggest adding aromatherapy to the saunas for a more luxurious experience. Rovinj is one of the most beautiful cities as it is, so I never thought I could enjoy it more the 8th time there, but Lone proved me wrong. I've already booked my stay for next year! The only thing that I was unsure of is the degree of cleanliness. The room was, of course, cleaned every day, however I don't think our towels were changed that often. I had a make up mark on my hand towel which I was able to see three days in a row. I would like to think that this was not the case for all. Nevertheless, the hotel overall was very clean.

Staff was generally very friendly, Missed the previous staff in spa though. Friendly suggestion: maybe close-off the pool area for kids at late hours for adults to enjoy some peace and quiet. Also room cleaning was seriously lacking compared to previous stays. Lone is a beautiful hotel, sadly after years of operation it shows some serious wear&tear... We will return after some much needed refubrishment & remodelling.

The comfort of the room, the breakfast, the location (clean and peaceful at wintertime), all perfect. The rooms are clean, the surroundings are wonderful, a forest-beach trail starts at the foot of the hotel. Ideal for running, walking. The old town is walking distance, you just start your walk in the opposite direction then the trail. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. Note: the cleaning staff made the bed of our dog every day. This is the cutest thing ever! I attach a photo of it. Only negative is the usage of the sauna area by most of the guests, where people implement the rule of no-bathing suits as to wear nothing at all… Sorry, but from where I come from no-bathing suits in a wellness means that you only wear a towel. But you wear a towel!!! And you don’t go everywhere blank-naked. Maybe I was socialized wrongfully in this, but it was a very unconfortable experience for me.
