Opened in May 2016 and located at the A13 motorway, amid the local recreation area of Ruggel in Liechtenstein next to the Rhine river, the self-check-in hotel kommod offers modern rooms with free WiFi, a modern restaurant, as well as free private parking. Check-in is possible 24-hours a day via a self-check-in machine next to the hotel's entrance. All rooms are comfortably furnished and come with soundproof floor-to-ceiling windows which can be opened, a flat-screen TV, a safe and a bathroom with a rain shower and an illuminated make-up mirror. Guests can savor a glass of wine or a pint of beer at the in-house bar, serving small snacks, as well. Various conference rooms and business facilities are provided. Various shops, bars and restaurants can be found in the surroundings. The property is located in the Dreiländereck (border triangle). Feldkirch Train Station is 5.6 mi and Buchs Train Station is 7.5 mi away.

Comfortable, clean room. Delicious breakfast. The hotel is located in a quiet commercial/industrial area on the outskirts of a village, but within easy driving distance to everything Liechtenstein has to offer. Friendly staff. On-site parking. The self check-in machine threw an error during keycard encoding, and wouldn't let me encode another one, so I couldn't get inside. Luckily, I was able to find a staff member to help me.

Very clean and comfortable. We checked in on a bank holiday which was fine as it was all self check but there was no dining available that pm, which wasn't the hotels fault. Just made us have to change our anticipated plans.

All in all it was good. Quite in the middle of nowhere but you know it when you're booking it. Room was comfortable, staff was helpful. It is what it is.

The hotel had no hospitality staff and we had difficulty checking in. There was no service in the dining room except for one staff member. At night there was a terrible noise from a net that constantly hit the bedroom windows and it was impossible to sleep peacefully. In addition to all the things I mentioned, I was charged twice and I am still waiting for a refund. In summary, an unpleasant experience at all.

Comfortable and clean rooms. Easy check-in + big indoor parking for cars. The breakfast was too simple with not so many options.

Quiet location Self check in was a bit tricky. 2 elderly guests had some difficulties by check in as we checked in and needed assistance.

The lady on the reception the day we arrived, & another lady the following, were both very friendly and welcoming :) We loved the superior double room, & would recommend paying the extra over a standard double - for the two floor to ceiling windows on seperate walls! The room was spottlessly clean & the bed large & comfortable too. Unfortunately our reservation was mixed up, despite having confirmation that the change (from a standard to superior) had been made online.. So we had to wait an hour for it to be ready. But we were quite happy after a long drive, & they have free coffee & tea in reception too.

pleasant clean hotel the bedsheets were outworn and when you stay in the Ost wing you have to go through the garage (which is practically outdoor and freezing in winter) to reach breakfast!!!
