Genuinely everything was perfect. This is the nicest place I have ever stayed in. Host was so so accommodating and nice. Absolutely nothing - this place is perfect.

Clean, staff was incredibly friendly. Room was spacious and hot spring within room was great.

The manager/co-owner Mrs. Yen was very friendly and welcoming. She recommended us the best ever hike in the area (when most of the nearby hikes were closed). And what can be better than taking a bath with warm water from hotsprings after amazing hike. Lack of laundry service was just a minor inconvenience we could think of.

nice facilities, great that you can have your own hotspring in your room hotel is a bit isolated so you need car/taxi to go to restaurant

The private Hotspring and spring water is excellent and 41C. My skin is silky smooth by after soaking in it. Nothing.

A fantastic hot springs hotel! The room and beds were excellent, but the highlight was definitely the private hot springs tub. The included breakfast was also excellent. The front desk person (maybe the owner?) was very helpful as well. If you don't have a car, it's a 25 min walk to the center, which worked fine for us.

Breakfast is great and fresh Nice and clean

The hot spring tub in the room is nice but our highlight was the outdoor (common) hot spring, where one can switch between hot water and cold swimming pool. Perfect to relax after a day of cycling! The host was also very friendly.

Staff were wonderfully welcoming and informative; swimming pool; hotspring bath; large and comfortable room; included breakfast; amenities; clean and quiet; robes and slippers I was glad the swimming pool was accessible during our stay, however it does say to only use between evening hours which I find strange. The 4pm check-in time was quite late and we were thankful a staff member had arrived earlier than this and we were able to check-in at approx. 3:30pm (as we were just waiting in the car park area from 3pm)

This is a boutique hotel located within 10 mins driving distance from the train station; if not, the hotel provides free shuttle service from the station to their hotel. The facility is well maintained and clean. The hot-spring is very comfortable. The room is spacious. The breakfast is delicious made with fresh local ingredients. The owner is very friendly. I’m definitely want to visit again. Nothing to unlike.

A luxurious Japanese styled room with a private hot spring bath. It was the ultimate way to relax after a long day of biking. This was our favorite stay during our time in Taiwan by far. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast provided was delicious, there is a pool, and a beautiful courtyard to lounge in. Looking forward to returning to this little slice of paradise away from the hustle and bustle.

The rooms were big and comfortable. The hotspring tub in the room was well laid out and hotspring water was really therapeutic. I specially woke up early the next day to have another soak before checkout. Staff explained how to use the hotspring facilities upon checkin, and also explained each breakfast item patiently. The breakfast was superb, prepared with locally sourced ingredients. The milk mantou was the best I ever tasted. Highly recommend! The location might not be very convenient if you are not driving. Didn't really see any public transport nearby, but I can't be sure since we drove there.

Large room with modern and nice furnishings. Onsen in the room in a big plus after a long day of walking. Freshly made breakfast by the owner was nutritious. There are no restaurants surrounding the property. Would be better to have dinner in the township, which is about 5mins drive away first then settling in for the night.

If you are looking for onsen hotel at Ruixui, Yen is a must stay The room size is so spacious and decently designed. The onsen water is so good that you can relax and enjoy comfortably in your room. The bed is big enough for two persons and very comfortable. The lady owner is very hospitable. The breakfast set is nice and delicious.
