The service was fantastic. They provided free pick up/drop off service from Ruisui station. They also have bycicle for hire which was great fun for us to explore around the town.
-
Stylish room, hot bath, food. No sound insulation and noisy until 2200 from reception and dining area. Group meant it wasn’t very tranquil.

Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. Excellent dining. Friendly, helpful staff. Loved the hot tub in room!

Lovely!

Lovely place to get away from it all in the countryside.

Luxury after a long bike ride. The rooms are enormous and we made great use of the in-room hot spring tub. The bathroom was huge and the layout was great with the shower and tub next to each other. We participated in pizza making and wine / coffee tasting - we were hungry so they made the extra effort to get us more pizza supplies. We didn't pre-order dinner and the chef left already, hence there wasn't close / easy to access food, so plan accordingly. However there were instant noodles in the room!

It’s clean, well furnished and well maintained. Dinner is delicious. There was a compulsory charge NT1600 imposed on my kid on check-in, which I was not informed, even though I’ve declared upfront on booking.com platform months ago. This policy was only made known to us on site. I find this part quite unacceptable.

Gorgeous property that blends into the environment. Hot spring right in your room! Dinner was amazing. The hot spring tub in the room was such a luxury.

The food and in-house refreshments. The staff made people feel that they don’t like to work there. And the way they speak to customer over the phone is quite blunt. Also the hot spring is not hot at all as it should have been (said 48 degree on the label but really it’s under 38).

The staff are very patient and polite. It gives people a very cordial feeling. Breakfast was good and tasty. We were in a rush and didn't have dinner reservations, They arranged for a car to drive us out to dinner, which was much appreciated.

More like “Faded Glamour”, we imagine this place was great 5-10 years ago, however it’s seriously lacking some love now and some decent service. Upon arrival we had a shuttle service from the train station, which was fine, then when we arrived it was a very hot day and we weren’t offered a drink, only told we couldn’t have the room till 3, we then got offered a warm bottle of water. We had a hot spring room, just off from the breakfast room, sound insulation was terrible. The room was fine but in need of some TLC. Our shower didn’t work at first and our toilet leaked. Not all plug sockets worked, the “fridge” was room temperature, and the blind didn’t work. It was my partners birthday and I asked if we could have a meal at the hotel, to which they said no, and go to the train station there are numerous restaurants around there! We asked to do laundry, same answer go to the train station there is a laundrette opposite. All in all, this place is very disappointing, not worth the money, definitely not what it says on the tin. read above

we found tranquility here.

Very tranquil location, perfect for relaxing Price is not cheap and its out of the way
-
Beautiful swimming pool & natural surroundings. And the happy hour with complimentary wine & cider in the evening. A few minor things could use updating. The light switch cover by the hot spring tub outside our room, for example. Oh, and there’s not much to see or do in the area, so be prepared to enjoy the property. It wasn’t a problem for us because our son loved the pool!

Set amongst the natural wonders of the East Rift Valley, The Silence Manor is a lovely place to stay, with a quiet ambiance, beautiful grounds, and a serenity that is indicative of the name! The half board package includes a pleasant dinner and breakfast, both served with a smile in a fitting dining room that is surrounded by the outside world with large, glass windows on 3 sides! The rooms are rustic, with access to personal hot springs that are great for tired limbs and help set up a comfortable nights sleep. The staff are all charming and helpful! Whilst the location for some will be perfect, as it is away from noisy roads and set in a stunning location, for those who want more local restaurants and amenities, there isn’t as much available without a car. There was also a slight drainage smell that was thankfully masked by a scented candle.
