Happy Mountain Airport Resort

Amazing little place, highly recommended! The views are SO GOOD, every little cabin faces a great view of the mountain and city and has a rooftop terrace with an even better view. I spent several hours up there in the evening just enjoying the sight and the lovely jungle scent. The cabins are spacious and comfy, they have private bathrooms. You don't share any walls with everyone so it's very quiet, the AC works very well, the wifi is okay, the outlets take all types of plugs. The owner is really friendly. There were always ants coming in somewhere or other, some of the furniture was rickety. If you were hoping for a fancy high-class hotel this isn't it, but none of it was a real problem.

The shelf above sink is so close to it it’s almost impossible to wash your face or even spit into it.

AC did need some maintenance, it was cooling fine in the night but struggled a bit during the day and stayed icing up. But the breeze was really good so it didn't matter much. Wifi isn't great inside the room but if you step outside it works fine.

You are basically at the top of a mountain with sea, city and aircraft takeoff/landing view at the same time. Incredible view! Sunsets are roof-bearing and you have the 1st row seats to the show. The stars are clearly visible at night with all this jungle sounds ♡♡♡ if you have a bike it's not a problem at all to get there. Also the sound of airplanes is almost inaudible, and inside the villa you can’t hear it at all. Great restaurant! Quite pricely compared to those in the city, but very delicious. My friend who lives in Phuket for almost 2 years said that it was the most tasty Tom kha kai she ever tried at Thailand. The restaurant and hotel are owned by the same family, they are very friendly and generous. Considering how noisy Phuket is and how many people and traffic jams are, here you look at everything from above in silence. If you want to live in the unique place with lifetime memories and living on the first coastline is not priority for you, this hotel is the best choice at Phuket! The Wi-FI signal is bad, I needed to go on the roof or into the restaurant area to work. Be ready for a lot of geekons inside your villa, they would love to get into your food or garbage. It wasn't a problem for us, we knew that we are in a jungle :), just be prepared. It would be great if the hotel build a swimming pool and had the bike rent. We lived for 6 days, and there was no cleaning in the villa (but maybe not supposed to?), but the host lady changed the towels for us. There was no place to throw out the trash, and we had to keep it for all 6 days. A lot of wild dogs at the road to the villa (there is only one road there actually). Every time we were walking by or riding a bike there, they were barking and chasing us. It was VERY scary, but still nothing to do with the hotel itself.

Someone else was driving when we arrived, and I was happy it wasn't me driving. It's quite steep with tight switchbacks, but the road is good.

Great view! Very spacious bungalows with lovely terrace. No wifi in the rooms and there is really nothing around so you'll need a scooter.

This property was amazing with a beautiful view from your bedroom. This family provided/ offered top notch customer service; big smiles and so respectful. the food was amazing; it was so convenient to have food on the property. The drinks were so great!!!! I would definitely recommend this property to everyone. it was 45-50 minutes from the center of Phuket town. This was a peaceful stay. such a scenic view.
