Hotel Europa Nebenhaus—which has no passenger elevator—is an affordable hotel in Saas-Fee offering a free ski bus to the slopes during the winter. The wellness area features a hot tub, two saunas, and two steam baths. An underground hall connects the building to the reception, breakfast room, and wellness area. Upon arrival, guests receive a pass offering the following benefits: In summer (June to October), public transport and cable cars in the Saas Valley can be used free of charge (excluding the Metro Alpin; does not apply to summer skiing). In winter (October to April), public transport is free, and discounts are offered for various activities. The property is located just 328 feet from the Hannigbahn cable car station.

The staff is very nice, the room was excellent and the hotel has also a spa-area. Plus it's very close to the center of Saas-Fee. The value for money was excellent! The only minor thing that I didn't like was that the steam bath was out of order. But that's a minor thing. All the rest was really nice.

Location and nice clean room. Mattresses were old and had a hollow in the center. The guy at the reception when we arrived, and the waitress at breakfast were friendly and helpful. The reception fellow in the morning was barely answering questions and certainly not a great example of Swiss hospitality...

Property was ok for a short stay Rooms are dated not like the image shown. It is misleading as the lift beside is only for sledding and the ski lift is far away. The breakfast was very basic and I when I asked to use the coffee machine after breakfast you have to pay extra. The wellness area also only opens from 4pm to 7pm which is not very convenient as we would have liked to use it in the morning. The jacuzzi was rather cold so we didn’t enjoy that. The beds also are very hard with very bad pillows if you need comfort. All in all for the price I would not return. I have stayed in much more high end locations in Zermatt with nicer hotel for much cheaper! I felt welcomed but when leaving the man on the desk did not seem very thankful for our business which left a bad taste for me!
