We enjoyed the room with all the special touches of the bed being turned down and the floor cloth placed beside the bed and especially the view with the deck. The spa was very refreshing after a long day of skiing, and the breakfast offered many choices aside from the breakfast buffet you could also order freshly made crepes, pancakes and numerous styles of eggs. We loved it just the way it was,

Spa Fitness While we like the chef’s 8+ courses menu at the restaurant Casar Ritz, we thought the service could be improved to be more in line with the gourmet menu

We have stayed in this hotel two more times. Some things are consistently very good - service, hospitality. Some others are getting worse. Facilities are aging amd should get a refresh, and the food (breakfast and restaurants) was average.

Hotel great: could do with a kettle in the room, only complaint. Staff were brilliant, especially the bar staff Kettle in room!! You also had to pay for tea at the afternoon tea. The cakes were included and were delicious

Location and facilities Staff were slow and limited options for gluten free people

Rooms are good, we got a mountain room, but on the ground level--I find that if I book through Booking.com I get the worst room in the category for the hotel--I'm thinking that they save the better rooms for people that book directly We opted for the half board which was not clear in the charge. The booking.com site said, "Half board for 109", but didn't give the option to pay--so I texted the hotel to see if they could add it which they did. What wasn't clear is that it was $109 per person per night--no where was that clear and so, for us, it added up to an extra $450 total-- NOT worth it!! and there was no negotiating with the manager on the misstep.

There was so much choice for breakfast and it was all delicious When I rang to book a table for dinner I asked for a bath but only got a shower as I was told none were available , however our friends actually got a bath.
