It is a very nice property. They need to work on the details, and it would be excellent. The river side view is calm and peaceful. The pool area is nice to just relax and read. It would be great to have an area for a continental breakfast. The Scotts restaurant is expensive and you have no other options. The location is remote from any shops or restaurants. Beds were really comfortable.

No option other than valet. Not advertised ahead of time.

Great hotel right on the river. We enjoyed the restaurant on the property as well. All the staff were helpful and rooms very clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.

Our plans changed at last minute, and the front desk manager was very helpful to help us reorganize our plans. The property is also very beautiful.

Good, convenient and comfortable. The room is spacious, has a very nice clawfoot tub and luxurious bedding by Westin. The forced valet parking ($52 per day) was a surprise, so be prepared if you book a stay here — there are no parking facilities close by and you will be forced to valet your vehicle for each night of your stay. The WiFi is complementary but only if you’re a Marriott Bonvoy member.

Staff are friendly, accommodating, and efficient. The facilities are beautifully decorated and very clean. The location on the river makes the stay very special.

Room was comfortable and spacious.

We've stayed at this hotel many times - excellent stay for special occasions. We recently stayed for a "mini moon" after getting married. The bathrooms are huge - we love the large soaking tub and shower. King bed suite is so comfortable and balcony with nice view. Having a restaurant on site is nice as well. The last room we stayed I felt the AC unit was loud. Also we left notes that we were celebrating our wedding - and we obviously paid extra for a waterfront view. Our first room we were assigned only had a view of the parking lot and reception tent. We asked to be moved - and front desk was accommodating. Though I feel that if you leave notes like that - especially when we booked this a month or more in advance, it should be understood we want the highest floor and best view possible. Next day there was another front desk employee and they provide us a bottle of champagne and choice of soaking bath salts which was nice!

Great restaurant and pool! On the river but there is no river beach access so don't plan on going kayaking or paddle boarding from the Westin. Clean rooms, great service ! Don't forget to ask for a water view with balcony !

We showed up at midnight and it was dark. The room looked decent with limited light. However in the morning when we had daylight I saw A LOT of toenail /nail cuttings near the sofa. It really grossed me out. Glad we only stayed one night.

We specifically booked this hotel because they had a pool. The pool was closed/broken. The ice machine was broken. You have to valet park which they charge $52 for 24 hours. Really overpriced. This hotel is very overpriced. Very disappointed

Beautiful and high end property surprisingly nice

Just amazing place, staff and restaurant!

One of my favorite little details was the variety of water stations in the lobby — such a thoughtful touch and honestly so impressive! The hotel grounds are beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. The room was amazing — super cozy, comfortable, stylish, and spotless. Everything felt high-end and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind and truly enjoy the stay. This was honestly my best experience in Sacramento, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a beautiful and comfortable stay. I will definitely be coming back!

A ton of dog hair on the bed. Pool was out of service. I wouldn’t stay here again the vibe was off and the staff did not seem like they wanted to be there
