It worth noting that the hotel is a 40 minute walk to the old city and taxis are very scarce in Saint-Malo. As we had a Canadian phone and could not make local phone calls the owner-receptionist told us on the morning of our departure that he would be there in the afternoon and could call a taxi for us. But he was nowhere to be found when we needed him. We could not walk to the train station as it was too far. We had to ask someone passing by the hotel to drive us. It was a really stressful situation. Frankly, it is rare to see a hotel left without a receptionist and no other personnel.

The breakfast was below expectations and could also be served earlier than 7h30. The shower was of low pressure.

Simple room, friendly receptionist I booked this hotel specifically because it came up as an option with parking. There was no parking, we found a spot on the street.

Did not eat any BF Only two lovely ladies working for this hotel Very poor show, at these prices the room was serviced 3 days in 6 I recommend this owner visit a Mercure Hotel and learn what is pricing and what is running a hotel at the prices he is charging Advertised Parking does not exist (street parking IF YOU find any you will be insulted and offended by rude and aggressive Frenchmen not liking our cars being parked at their street) Did not eat any BF an Overpriced hotel EVEN though I booked a double room with Booking I was told i m overcharged now because I got a big Bed hahahah I never requested a king-size bed only a double room NO Aircondition, NO fridge, NO Heating NO service Very Noisy the street in front is a main artery road and there are 1000s of cars all night

All went well thank you, nice staff, room fine, and convenient street parking. It is also in an excellent situation, a short walk from the Sillon beach, and the eateries in Courtoisville. No problem really. Sometimes difficult to get there on arranged check in time. All went well.I can't thank of anything particular to criticise!

Location was near the beach, supermarkets and some Restaurants. Very nice neighbourhood with pretty buildings. Bathroom was clean. Receptionists were kind. Room was very basic. Only one power outlet was working properly. Room was smelling like cleaning chemicals.

Perfect, quiet room. Free parking is possible on neighboring streets if you find free place. :) City center is quite far but walking on the sea side is priceless.
