The location is fantastic, close to restaurants & shops in the intramuros area, with beach access just a 4-5 min walk (plage de Bon Secours). Staff is very friendly and helpful. Beds are comfortable and rooms had everything we needed. Not a fan of the carpet in the room, which probably could use a replacement or better yet no carpet. Breakfast was a bit limited but adequate if you don't want to bother going out for breakfast. Baguette was good but the viennoiseries were pretty terrible so I'd skip that.

Really nice and clean hotel. Great location within the walled town and a 30 second walk to restaurants and bars. Due to the location it can be loud outside beyond 11pm.

there was a bad smell in the room. When you open the windows, a lot of flies come in so no possibility. They renovated the bathroom recently but it has no enough light there.

Great staff! The lady at the reception was awesome! She gave us a map of the city which was very helpful. She was very personable and friendly.

We upgraded to a supreme recently refurbished room. Simple but big and comfortable with a very useful table in the bathroom. Welcome staff were very welcoming and helpful. Location was nicely walkable straight up an easy slope from the city center, even in the rain. A quick overnight before catching the morning ferry but very restful.

Location was excellent. Being inside the walled city was exceptional. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and clean. We would definitely stay again. The room had a fridge, thank you! We found it expensive for the value. Prices in France are high for most things, hotels are no exception. Perhaps a breakfast included would be a nice perk.

Recommend for “within the walls” stay. Perfect location! Beach is short walk.

We received a "renovated" room, but it didn't really look like it, so not sure how the unrenovated rooms looked. The room was quite large which was nice. The location is great, we could walk anywhere in a few mins. The room didn't have a proper hair dryer only a very old plastic tupe that was on the wall which is very ineffective with long hair, takes ages to dry and gets very hot due to the plastic. The windows were facing the street which was unexpectedly noisy (cars, deliveries etc.).:

The room was really comfortable and well appointed. The location was ideal to access the centre of the city shops and restaurants. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel.
