Les Ambassadeurs, Logis Hotel, sa crêperie et son rooftop - Saint Malo Plage

Lovely sea views. We arrived hot after a long car journey. We were not offered a drink on arrival. We went to the bar/restaurant to buy tea & water, but they refused to serve us unless we ordered food. Unfriendly & uncaring. We stayed in 9 hotels on our trip and this was our only negative experience.

Amazing view, comfortable bed, great shower, great location

Superb position on the promenade with wonderful views from the bedroom and common areas. Free on street parking was available. Reception and breakfast room/creperie was fairly Spartan and more hostel -like.

I found the staff’s approach to be less accommodating than expected

Room was perfect position, 1st floor and central. Superb view over the beach, lovely little balcony and could hear the sea at night. Hotel location was also perfect, just a short walk to the old town and with restaurants and bars close by. Brilliant roof terrace, although the wrong time of year for us. Loved the decor and the authentic feel. Only criticism was the size of the room, that said, every space was utilised and everything needed was there. I don't think there would be any way rooms could be bigger without spoiling the authentic feel of the hotel, and although small, the room was delightful and cosy.

nothing went well The location was terrible, parking not obvious, very unfriendly and scruffy looking. We did not even check in but found another place to stay in St Malo.

The room was exactly as advertised, the sea view was fantastic. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly. We did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment of breakfast or evening meal. Nothing all as advertised, great location, stunning views, clean room. We used the stairs, which was not a problem for us. But the lifts were so small it was permanently occupied.

Good location, lovely view of beach and sea Very small cramped room, tiny bathroom, tiny lift to get to room on 3rd floor, couldn’t fit 2 people and suitcase in had to make 2 trips. Kept awake all night by arguing guests in another room screaming at each other for hours, hotel staff did nothing to stop it. Carried on until 2.45am! On leaving at 6am in morning lift wouldn’t come to our floor so had to carry luggage down 3 floors so no doubt woke other guests doing that! Lift had been blocked open by hotel reception!!

Great location on Sillon Beach, 10-15 minutes walk from St.Malo city walls. Friendly staff, although quite stretched at the busy breakfast time. The bedrooms and en-suite bathroom are very small. There wasn’t any space to walk around the bed and showering/going to the loo was very cramped.

Amazing view. Hôtel old fashioned and not in the best condition. Breakfast disappointing.
