Just renovated, Le Croiseur Ginette blends modern comfort with authentic character, with top-of-the-range beds made in Brittany. The hotel also features a terrace, a communal lounge, a bar, free WiFi and a snack service for all. The location is ideal, right in the heart of the ramparts of Saint-Malo intra-muros. The Saint-Vincent esplanade is just a stone's throw away, as is the bus to Mont-Saint-Michel and a 20-minute walk from the train station, while the ferry terminal is just 10 minutes from Jersey and Guernsey. The Palais du Grand Large is also a 600-yard walk away. Our nonsmoking rooms are equipped with free WiFi, a bathroom with shower or bath, certified organic products, a connected TV and quality bedding for a pleasant and relaxing stay. Breakfast is served at the hotel, with a selection of local products. There are also plenty of restaurants, shops and a thalassotherapy center nearby to complement your stay. We offer a few parking spaces at €20 per day in a secure underground car park located inside the city walls. It's an ideal location, provided your vehicle isn't too large: the streets of Saint-Malo are better suited to compact cars. During high season, some streets become pedestrianized, which can make access more difficult. Nothing insurmountable, but it's best to have a little patience and, if possible, a good copilot to guide you. We recommend that you contact us in advance so that we can best organize your arrival.

I needed an affordable and well located hotel inside the walls of St. Malo and was very pleased with my stay at this hotel. It was a 10 minute Uber ride from the ferry dock and later when I departed on the bus to Mont St. Michel bus, it was an easy 10 minute walk to the Tourist Office and pickup spot . The staff did a great job giving me perfect instructions for my after hours check-in. As described the elevator is amazingly tiny, but thankfully my 24" roller bag and I fit! There were 10 or so stairs leading from ground floor to elevator, so keep that in mind.

Staff were so helpful - with car parking and resturant recommendations. Our room was neat and tidy. Our stay was during a heatwave and staff provided a fan.

The staff were very pleasant and nice. The room was well appointed, clean and decent sized for Europe. It appeared to be recently renovated. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the old city with plenty of restaurants and shops around. I look for hotels with elevators, which this hotel has. Unfortunately it is extremely small and appeared to be limited to 100 kg. I could not use it so had to walk up the 4 flights. If you must have an elevator and you are a larger person this hotel won't work for you.

Good location. Very nice, helpful staff. Very clean. Comfortable bed, pillows and sheets. Room was a little smaller than we like and sound insulation from bathroom to the bathroom next door could be improved.

Small elevator—I didn’t mind, but may be difficult for people with a lot of luggage, disabled people, or families. It was loud overnight and in the early morning, especially around the stairs.

Loved this stay for St. Malo. We took the ferry in from England and were able to leave our bags here while we explored St. Malo for a while. This hotel was very easy to find and it was right up the street from our favorite cafe that we went to in France. We would recommend this place to stay! N/A

We had a wonderful stay here. The hostess was warm, friendly, and very helpful, and she gave us a beautiful room with a balcony. The rooms are tastefully decorated, very clean, and feel brand new. The restaurant downstairs is cozy and stylish. The location is perfect — right by the main gate and close to the big cafés and restaurants, yet tucked away on a quiet street. It’s truly a gem, and the price is very reasonable for the quality. Highly recommended.

The hotel was cute and clean and cosy. It was very centrally located, but off the main corridors where the day-tripping tourists walk through the streets. We enjoyed fresh seafood at the restaurants all within steps of the hotel. We also enjoyed a beer on the patio after spending the day at the beach. All good. A little note – the rooms are small. We also booked one with a balconette and this was great.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. There's not much they could do to fix this given the hotel location/building. But the lift is a little coffin like.
