It was hard to find. GPS navigation left us in the middle of a street. It is above a pub. The sign for the property is above the pub.

Great breakfast, and a wonderful central location on La Place des Heros (MUCH better than the Grand Place, which basically was a parking lot). Property was a bit difficult to find, requiring entry through a charming bar (but not obviously marked). Definitely a funky feeling to the place that does show its age.

Central location and Room Above a bar which was very noisy

Fantastic location right on the piazza and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable and wonderful shower! The stairs were a little steep but manageable and unfortunately there was a loud band on both Thursday and Friday night til 1:30 am.

Great character, superior location. Only problem was there was no elevator, although one of the employees took our luggage up to the second floor for us. The lack of an elevator, but it didn’t turn out to be a problem.

Great location. Stairs

The location is perfect. Room and bathroom clean Cost was fair Parking not in the hero's square. But plenty at 100m walk Free parking is a everyday day after 1800- 0900 and 1 hour free every day past 0900.

The view from the room was beautiful. The manageress was lovely. Very helpful, especially as we don't speak French. She also carried my wife's suitcase up the stairs to the room. The towels, when we arrived, were slightly damp. They were clean, but had probably been taken out of the dryer a bit early. Not a major problem - just worth mentioning I think.

La cour des grands was a lovely place to stay in Arras, it was very central , right in the heart , in place de les Heros . Beautiful architecture. Lots of reasonably priced places to eat. Walking distance to train station. Place was spotless, bed comfy , staff friendly, breakfast delicious. I was travelling alone and I felt very safe in this town. I stayed on the third floor , four flights of stairs , so this may not be accessible to everyone , so if you have a dodgy , hip , knee or heart , it's probably better to not stay on the top floor , but the room , the bathroom off it and the private terrace were lovely.

Excellent reception from staff with a friendly, welcoming care to us all. Clear instructions on everything. Very comfortable bed and great selection offered for breakfast. Excellent coffee Only very slight negative was shower door didn't shut properly so you had to be careful not to spray water towards the door

A pitstop in Arras and the lodging bang in the middle of town so conveniently located for a quick visit albeit parking and the one way streets a little combative - spacious room just fine - simple breakfast

Staff went above and beyond. So clean, the view of the square is amazing. Nothing, it was perfect for us
-
Beautifully decorated and furnished - one of the loveliest places that we've ever stayed. Yh That we hadn't booked for longer...

The staff was very friendly and helpful!
-
Warm atmosphere, lovely room, hot shower, refrigerator Party-like heavy noises from the ground floor even after 1am (some of those who are tired enough for sightseeing or work could sleep) on weekends

Great place in great location
-
fantastic location Had to wait for staff to open premises

Perfect central location. Really lovely rooms and the staff were really friendly.

Awesome location directly overlooking the square, we booked the junior suite which was superb. Friendly staff and a great breakfast. No parking on site but the super check in person explained exactly where to go to park for free (even though it was busy with the Christmas market).
