Stopover hotel. Out of season so pool not in use. Little bit worn at the edges and basic room with firm mattress. Small terras with table and 2 chairs. Was quiet except for road noise from 8am. Enough storage space. Wouldn't want to stay in summer as no airco (but fan provided). I like having a kettle/coffee/tea in the room, which wasn't available.

The swimming pool was ideal and the river behind the hotel perfect to cool the dogs. A bit too near to the main road. Could be noisy.

Nice little hotel, room was small and basic but clean, comfortable and functional. The terrace and the pool were a big plus - exactly what we needed after a day's hiking. Also an unexpected bonus were the mountain bikes available to borrow - took a lovely 10 minute ride on a cycle path through vineyards and fields to get into town for dinner. Air conditioning in the rooms would have been helpful. Hadn't realised when we booked that the hotel no longer has a restaurant. Decor is a bit dated bit perfectly adequate for the price. Location right on the main road is a bit of a shame, but no big deal.

The receptionist was extremely kind and helpful. We used their bikes to cycle into town. Good views of river at rear. Location. It is 2km from the centre of Saint Paul de Fenouillet.

I wonderful hotel, peaceful location so tranquil with a view to the garden and small river. Totally quiet at night. Large room with a good shower. Restaurant was very good, local cuisine and very tasty. Good choice for breakfast. Staff so friendly. Swimming pool was a real bonus, very large and beautifully clean. The fire alarm going off at 5am, however evacuation was very fast, if it had been a real fire we would have been safe.
